The food here is absolutely incredible! My husband and I adore this spot, it’s his absolute favorite, and now I completely understand why. We ordered the New Yorker and the Georgian. The spicy sausage Georgian is delicious, bursting with flavor! The New Yorker was delicious as well but I definitely enjoyed the spicy sausage much more. Their fries are crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. It’s a great fry lol. The shop is nice and cozy, making it a perfect place to eat. Plus, the staff here are kind and welcoming. I can confidently say that this is the best hot dog I’ve ever had, and the sausage is simply unbeatable! Delicious delicious delicious
Great spot for hot dogs, burgers, cheesesteaks and fries. Everything here is delicious. Only thing I would change on my order would be less onions on what I ordered. But that's on me. Takeout friendly and there's seating in the ordering area and then there's a dining spot on the side. If you love hot dogs, check it out
I friggin love it here. It's a little out of the way to go on a regular basis but when I do, it's always, always worth it. My uncle frequently books their food truck for the 4th of July and that is always delicious. I mean, it's just a hot dog and fries. How good can it be? LET ME TELL YOU. It's just fresh ingredients, fresh cut fries, good combination of ingredients. It's just dang good. Last time I was there I had lunch to celebrate my finalized divorce and it's just as good now as it was then. This place is an institution and any hot dog lover should try and make the trip. They also have good options for non hot dog eaters!
Recently watched a television show that featured this establishment. We said Hey, we're going to be passing here on a road trip next week. Best season ever. I highly recommend the california and the new yorker. I can't even explain how good the french fries were. I wish I could have talked to the owner. His hot relish is amazing, Watched him make it on the television show, but man, it was really good. I wish I could have got a bucket of it to take home.
We got the Cincinnatian and the Dixie with fries. They were both good chilli dogs, with one having cheese and onions and the other having coleslaw. The fries were shoestring fries that had been triple cooked and then left out to cool for a bit too long. The only real issue here is the complete lack of food safety used by the staff, no gloves, no hair nets, nothing to make you feel safe.
Hot Dog lovers top of the list stop! Driving 95 remember exit 24. Take a break or journey to Super Duper Weenie for the dogs and more-Worth the trip. Everything is homemade yummy! I made the 90+ minute trek here yesterday with my wife and was extremely happy with both the service and the food. It's very rare and difficult to find restaurants that prepare everything they can from scratch while maintaining high quality standards. For those that leave negative reviews regarding the owner/employees: When you can handle 40+ hour weeks dealing with people like yourself, then you can start criticizing them. As for me, I'll continue to patronize businesses like this where both the workers and owners hold themselves to high standards on quality and efficiency while doing their best to deal with the constant stresses of their jobs. Thanks for the great experience yesterday, and hope to be back soon.
That was a good dog! And the fries were some of the best ever. Worth the stop. Super friendly staff too. Thank you DDD for this pick.Food: 5/5
Yesterday I really was craving a hot dog and french fries. I wanted to find a place that I thought might be interesting to dine at with my elderly father. We frequently to out to check out the best places that are tasty and affordable! Well I had google searched for a spot to go to and Super Duper Weenie sounded good online so we went on the way to the Fairfield location. Close to i95 and has a parking lot, no street parking and convenient. I ordered a hot dog I love bacon and cheese and then my father had sauerkraut on his. We shared a large fry which was a great size to share but I could have gone for more because i really enjoyed them. Seasoned shoestring fries. Yummy hot dog with actual full bacon strips not chips of bacon. Great quality dog and me and dad gave all the food a big thumbs up! I also ordered a Strawberry milkshake made with realy strawberries!!! Was amazing! Dad had a bottled birch beer. I was talking with the owner Gary about his restaurant and he is a very nice person and hardworker! In business over 30 years! The counter member who took the order was named Carolina. She was very nice as well and great at her job! Theres seating when u walk in with a U shaped of stools and counter to sit and also in the back to left some table and a room to eat and a bathroom that is close by. Very clean restaurant and you can see them cooking its an open kitchen which I always loved to see how they handle and prepare my food! The price was so reasonable we got all that food for just around $20! That is amazing for Fairfield County and we were both really impressed with the entire menu too! Not just hot dogs You can order burgers, chicken, alot of different things and specialty hot dogs they came up with! Thank you Gary and Carolina and i’ll come back soon!!!! Parking: Right in front of the restaurant maybe about 15 spots? And theres parking next door too Kid-friendliness: Great spot for the family Wheelchair accessibility: One level and easy access
A local staple and family favorite . The fries came out like a huge mountain of potatoes. All of our dogs had a generous amount of toppings. Everything was hot. Staff was upbeat, and everyone was not only working but working together. You can really see how close they all are. Plenty of napkins on the tables and the fridge was filled with an assortment of beverages including seltzer water.
