Surf Portsmouth

Amazing!! I'm so glad we decided to have dinner here. The restaurant is really cute and the staff was very friendly. The food was amazing!! We had the shrimp spring rolls for an app, so good!! I had the tuna steak (seared, served raw) which was so delicious. My boyfriend would never touch raw fish but agreed to have a bite and was blown away!! He had the salmon special which was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Overall, a great date night out!! We'll definitely go back next time we are in Portsmouth!

Ambiance is wonderful whether seated at a booth or at the bar. Staff is cordial and professional. Food is amazing. Fish is fresh. Presentation is beautiful. A must-go-to restaurant.

The service was excellent, the menu selections and quality of the food superb. There is something for everyone here, whether you're looking for casual, upscale dining in a relaxed, attractive setting, delicious drinks in a modern, classy bar setting or outdoor, ocean-front dining they have it all. I'd highly recommend it.

Great food, with an even greater view. Waiting staff is usually pretty good, but watch out if you have Kendra... She pushes really fast through the meal and it's rather uncomforting. Aside from that (and the fact that they took the Fried Mac N Cheese off the Entrees menu) I have no complaints

Surf is great for a lower level fine dining experience. Really good quality seafood and decent cocktails. I definitely recommend putting your name in for the deck and getting a drink in Portsmouth for an hour while you wait. Once you come back the seafood sampler was a great way to try their different selections.
