The Nice

An amazing place, great vibes, music is almost always on point, the staff is really friendly, drinks are tasty, and the crowd isn't super young (looking for chic and classy, come here)... Only wish the food option late night had a few different varieties but not enough to reduce star count.

*Note: The review below is for an old establishment in the same building that is no longer there. For some reason, instead of starting a new Facebook page the owners decided to attach all the old reviews to a new establishment. I am changing my review to one star to protest this. Each business should have to build their own reputation.* The Red Door is the place that first drew me into Portsmouth. It is a fun, intriguing experience from the moment you walk through the unmarked Red Door. The doorman, Michael, is the best. The winters just have DJs on the weekend but there are amazing acoustic acts in the summer. They have great cocktails and the vibe is classy and intimate. The mood changes throughout the night and it's a super fun place to people watch.

Excellent drink selection, food menu is limited but this establishment is all about their custom upper tier gourmet drink selection.

when this was the Red Door, it was a cool place. can't vouch for it now.
