Surge Martial Arts

We had a "Nerf battle" birthday party at Surge for our son's birthday and were extremely happy with the whole experience! Corey and his entire staff were great to work with and the kids had an awesome time! Excellent idea for a kid's birthday party!

I had always wanted to give my children the opportunity to experience Martial Arts, I just didn't know how and when. However, I worked next door to this Surge location and I was compelled to sign my children up, so I did. My children have been students for about 3 months, now and they are excelling in most areas inside and outside of class. So, I am in the middle of employment transition from being a daycare teacher to a summer school teacher, which I am excited about! Although, that came with financial challenges. So, I discussed my financial challenges with their instructor, Neil, and I informed him that I would have to take my children out until August. He told me not to take them out. He would continue to teach them and in August I can pay for the month's of June and July then. I could not believe it. I was so thankful! How often does anyone say, don't worry you can make it up? I am thankful from the bottom of my heart for Sense Neil!

Surge Martial Arts is simply the best school. It's an environment that Master Neil incorporates the idea of "I can" rather than "I can't". The instruction is top notch and Master Neil works with everyone individually and wants to see his students be the best they can be. Quitting isn't in his vocabulary and he makes sure you go as far as you can go to better yourself without giving up. He makes it a very fun and enjoyable environment where everyone is able to encourage others. Not only do you walk out learning about the actual style of Tae Kwon Do more and more each day, but you also learn something new about yourself that you didn't think you knew or could even do.

Surge Martial Arts is the ideal place for having fun, building confidence, learning respect, and learning high quality martial arts techniques from amazing instructors! It's the perfect place for both kids and adults to learn. The instructors get to know each student and their unique abilities and push them to be their best in all aspects of life. I didn't start learning taekwondo until I was 25 years old but have since learned that I am able to conquer anything I set out to accomplish with hard work, dedication, and perseverance!

I love Surge Martial Arts. This is the best studio ever. Excellent instructors, family orientated, teaching self discipline, positive attitude and self control, down to earth and all around great people to work with.
