Always great food and service. Love there sushi so many choices. Prices are fair. Wish they would get new padding on bench seats and stop the tables from rocking back and forth. But the food is great. Service friendly and always happy. They have great specials.

To start, we waited at the door entirely way too long. A few waitress passed us by and didn't even say hi. I was half tempted to leave and go next door. The restaurant is very reasonably priced and the food came out promptly. The waitress we had( little Asian lady and not one the few who passed us by) was great! She interacted with us and are baby and gave great service. Finally, the food was okay. The sushi seemed a bit dried out and old. I did enjoy the steak and chicken hibachi. I gave this restaurant three stars because of the poor service at the beginning and the mediocre sushi. First impressions are important! Also, you're called sushi 101, so, I expect good sushi...

Love this restaraunt! We go every time we get a chance, the Sushi Rolls are awesome and if you don't eat that they also have Hibachi! The lunch specials are great and there is always great service. They also have a large drink menu including several flavors of Saki, Beer, and Mixed Drinks for the adults.

In the eyes of most, my review could seem a bit harsh, but I'm speaking based off of my my experience here in comparison to my other experiences as well. I realize that sushi takes some time to make, but I ordered one roll which took almost 15 minutes to come out. The place wasn't even busy! And not to mention, being seated right next to the front door where it is absolutely freezing. So, I am from the West Coast where sushi is a huge staple. There is also an all you can eat option. At Sushi 101 there is no such thing as all you can eat which was a pretty disappointing. Calamari I ordered was pretty good if I pick out the undercooked clumps of batter. I ordered two rolls altogether which were pretty decent if you're super hungry, but not really worth it in my opinion.

I've been a regular costumer since I've moved to the area. I have decided that today's visit will be my last. I loved this place. I have brought family and friends to eat here whenever they'd come visit. Lately though, I've been very disappointed. I usually order to go online every other week. For the past couple of weeks the sushi has been incredibly dry. I didn't let that stop me from continuing to give Sushi 101 my business. Well today I decided to dine in with a friend. The service I had was TERRIBLE. I ordered a popular specialty roll, and the menu stated one price but I was charged another. Before paying, I let the waitress know this. She said, with a horrible attitude, "That's the new price." Well, the menu must be wrong then. I wasn't trying to make a big deal over a few dollars. I was still willing to pay my check at the current total, I was just bringing it to the servers attention. I was so taken back by the attitude I received from the waitress though. She never gave me her name. The sushi was dry and disappointing too. I still tipped my server the standard 20% despite her attitude and the lack of attention to my needs. I only saw her when she took my order and brought the check. I don't know what has happened, but this place has gone down hill in the recent months.
