We absolutely love Kobe! We have been here several times, and not once disappointed. One of the best hibachi restaurants we've been to. Wait staff and cooks are very friendly and entertaining. The food is phenomenal and you get a good size portion.. I always have leftovers! If there is ever a wait, it's totally worth it. Coming from Beaufort, we choose Kobe every time! I highly recommend them :)

Good Food, Great Customer Service,  I  enjoyed my time at this Restaurant!  I recommend it to anyone  for a  satisfying  dinner.

Just left from having lunch here... By far the worst experience!  Usually we dine for dinner in the hibachi room here.. Which is usually ok service! The young man at the door who sat us was very nice, however the woman who "took care" of us was absolutely rude and not attentive at all.  All she said was "you know what you want" then at the end when she was expecting a tip she said "thank you" not once did she check on us or how the food was! I had to stop her and ask for a to go cup of water because my glass/plastic worn out cup was filthy with crusty stuff inside all she said was "ok" not an apology or anything which she should have considering she delivered the nasty cup to the table. The place itself needs a deep cleaning and updating.. No clue how they pass with the health department. Definitely won't be returning here and highly suggest others to do the same.

Last 2 trips service has been bad. They seem to be under staffed.  Ordered sushi appetizer when we sat for hibachi.  Asked waitress after I had eaten veggies and rice nevermind on app because all we had left to eat was steak. (A long time had passed )  Insisted it was already done and she would box it to go.(if it was done why wasn't it served?)  Checks came.  Couple next to us drinks were on our check. They "fixed" It for us.  I still over paid check cause there was still a rogue beer on the bill.  Disappointed because this use to be a great place to go.  Ps what ever you do don't grab the edge of your  table to adjust your seat. Nasty greasy. Apps. Food was still great.

Was in Hilton Head for vacation and I really wanted to Japanese food, so I found this place. Called in the to go order and went to pick it up, the total ended up being $160. No big deal, I thought, until I seen the portion sizes. Paid almost $30 for a filet and chicken and there was barley any meat in my meal or any of the others. Im a small girl, and I normally can’t finish an entire meal, but I ate it all and still wanted more. Looked at the reviews and I guess this is how they do it all the time. Super expensive and not worth it since the portions are so small.
