Came in just in just in time for a late night dinner after a night out in town. One hour before closing but the service was so warm and welcoming nonetheless. The food was absolutely delicious and great portions.Food: 5/5
Got take out for lunch. Hot items mixed with deluxe roll. Got home with warm sushi. Beef teriyaki bento box was not great. Dry beef and sauce clearly drizzled over already cooked meat. Bento box sushi was also mushy. Would not recommend.Food: 1/5
A tiny cozy tucked-in Japanese restaurant of South Philadelphia. Great place for couples or small group of 4ppl. Service was excellent and sushi was made fresh. We tried the Apple roll and their Planet roll was pretty good. Also had tried the new Passion roll which came on a round dish with a flaming fire in the middle. There is a single unisex restroom.
Great Deals for lunch. Service is really nice. The Red Boy roll was really good and can't go wrong with lunch deals.Food: 5/5
WOW! My friend suggested we sit at the bar and ask for whatever the chef wanted to make. I had never done that before and I was beyond impressed! In the past, I just assumed it would be crazy expensive, but it wasn't. It was so worth it!!! I will definitely return and take out of town guests with me when they come to visit!
Very mediocre and inauthentic food, paired with an abysmal dining setting. This serves as more of a takeaway spot so no one is ever dining in- that should have been my first clue. My steamed dumplings were prepared in the microwave, which was disappointing to hear as I sat there and awful to taste once they arrived. Service is decent, although the sole waitress hardly speaks English. With so many sushi options around, I won’t be back to this one.
Just moved to Philly and had to celebrate completing unpacking by getting some sushi! This was not disappointing and everything I could possibly want out of sushi. Fresh, delicious, amazing, wonderful. Will come back, will reccomend to a friend. Pictured: Rock Shrimp Tempura, spicy salmon, salmon avacado, salmon california roll
My mediocre review derives from the bowl of ramen I ordered. The broth was weak and bland. The ramen egg was wrong, wrong, wrong. It’s supposed to be gently cooked to have a silky, creamy yolk. This was a clumsily prepared hard cooked egg with a disgusting green ring around the yolk. See photo. While edible, this is not the place to go if you want a good bowl of ramen. To be fair, I did not try the sushi, which may be outstanding.
Went to sushi plant on south 3rd and it was an amazing experience! I got the sushi dinner with their ‘hot tea’ actually a beautifully tasteful green tea/matcha that is way worth it. Was full and happy by the end of my very tasty meal. The server was very accommodating and nice. Will come here again
Very small and quaint restaurant with a large selection of sushi with moderate pricing, The teriyaki salmon was fresh and delicious. Enjoy the vanilla ice with silk coating. Our server was not to attentive. Nice place to visit.
