Food was ok, staff nice and attentive. The chicken curry was a bit insipid but the daalpoorie it was wrapped was good. My mom had a pine tart and said “ This isn’t as good as Dolly’s…..”. Dolly is her sister!
I ordered Suzy’s on Grubhub and tried a roti for the first time. Absolutely delicious!! I had the boneless chicken roti with a tamarind sauce. DELICIOUS!!!
One of my favorite takeout spots. Their veggie roti is so good. I’ve also tried their doubles, chicken curry, oxtail and Mac n cheese. Everything is always fresh and flavorful. Good prices too.
The Beefy Beef Patty is a 5-star all day!!!Food: 5/5
This was such a great find. We ordered the beef plate with rice and beans, and the shrimp roti. Both were delicious. The place is really small and can seat maybe 8 people max.
I came here today because of a recommendation from a neighbor. I never had goat or ox tail so I figured I would start with the Curry Shrimp as I am familiar with the taste. I got my shrimp with the rice and beans. I must say that everything came out quite tasty and they adjusted the heat to mild rather than spicy. The overall appearance of the place is on the small side, but very clean. They have a small outside area if people want to stay and eat. The menu is very limited and in my opinion the prices are extremely reasonable. Also, the staff is very friendly. I will definitely come here again to try something else...maybe I will be brave enough to try the goat or ox tail.
3.3.18 - so we stumbled upon this place while we waited for our table at Am Thai Bistro. We got a veggie roti and a Salt Baked Fish, or something like that. We met May who's the daughter in law of the the namesake to the restaurant. They'll be hitting two years in July and I think they'll make it, or at least I hope because their food is pretty darn good. The food isn't over seasoned and it tastes like everything is made fresh. I think they are well known for their doubles and they were sold out when we got there, but no worries. I'll most likely find some time to go back to get one.
Really enjoyed my food from here. It came out fresh and hot the moment it was served to me. The restaurant is very small, not much sitting space. Overall the food is absolutely delicious.
Tasty food, generous portions, reasonable prices, what more could you want? They don’t have much seating but there is a small outdoor area that works on a nice day! Chicken was delicious and nice because it’s boneless. The goat was tasty too but had bones which make it better for a platter than Roti. Plantains were good but not amazing.
Makes me sad to write this, but the taste of this food has gone down ALOT. I remember the oxtail being very good and tasty now it's just ok. The pastries, current roll, cheese roll and pineapple tarts, were not fresh and very hard, plus they tasted old. I used to truly love this place, I ate there regularly and now I'm not sure if they switched cooks or things have fallen off after COVID. I plan to order only one more time, just to see if maybe they were having an off day.
