Food is good but I will not spend another cent here this is not my 1st time here the cashier attitude is horrible I walk in and said good morning nice and loud the wicked old woman look at me like if I was from space not a good morning back so I said it again all she said if your here for a pick up you have to go over to there I had not pick just my phone in my hand smh I’ve try to support black own places but the attitudes is out of this world. Owners must do better on hiring for your business other wise it’s going to be gone like the rest of east Flatbush.
I keep giving this place chances after chances, but I think today was the last straw. The attitude from staff, the food tasted terrible, thank God I only received three pieces of beef this is a small food, but only three tiny pieces of beef. Nah, this is outrageous! The beef was tasteless and the rice was bland. No more, if finally decided. They offer a variety of choices, but the quality of food is declining and I could deal with less attitude.
This establishment sells Trini doubles, the doubles cost $3.15 for one, not enough channa and did not taste good. I saw another person make a fry bake filled with 3 different fillings. Horrible, the fry bake looked undercooked. Not going back nor recommending.Food: 2/5
So let me start by saying that I prefer to keep the dollars circulating within the community but 2023 is going to be different. I am OVER these caribbean restaurants that give you shoddy service and make no concessions or try to work with anybody. I think that this place has consistently gone down in service over the last 2 to 3 years but still I gave them a chance. I am done with this place. West indian restaurants always behave as if they're doing YOU a favor. Umm I can keep my money in my wallet if these unprofessional practices continue to be the norm . The food quality and consistency has declined. Customer service is lacking to the point where you are more likely to cuss out the employees than order something.. it is THAT bad. I will no longer recommend this establishment as the place to get authentic trini food in Brooklyn. Better you book a flight and get the food fresh and tasty without the headache. Waste of time to go here in 2022 or 2023!
The staff has always been rude and slow, nothing new. Gave them a rest for a bit and tried them again and they got worse, it's like the owner deliberately sets out to hire the rudest slowest women. If you are trying to be on time for work don't go here, if you want courteous staff don't go here either. The food is too expensive to endure such a rude slow staff. I don't think the owner cares either because he would've done something about them years ago. I would never go in here ever again, wouldn't even order from GrubHub or UberEATS.
Good food!,always freshly prepared, just wish they would put the full menu an various other food that we can get in the store as an option for on-line..
The food was tasteless because they kept pouring water on the meat and curry crab to make more gravy. That made it tasteless. Not going back.Food: 1/5
Hailing straight from the big city life of Trinidad, the owners wanted to bring their own version of Trini-Chinese food to NYC A week ago, I had Guyanese-Chinese food and I wanted to see how Trinidad-style Chinese food would be different. After all, Guyana in South America and the island of Trinidad are both Caribbean and right next to eachother on the map Truth is that the components taste the same the lo-mein and chicken wings, but it’s the sauces they use that are different. I asked for extra spicy chicken lo-mein and the lady behind the counter cooked the lo-mein with a traditional yellow chili sauce that was “only found in the jungles of Trinidad”. It was a mix of different chilis and mango. Yup - imagine your lo-mein being taken to the next level. The difference between Caribbean-Chinese style Lo-mein and American style Lo-Mein is that the caribbean style has an extra layer of sweetness to it and after adding the caribbean spicy sauce, they really scream caribbean noodles. If you’re ever craving Chinese take-out, come here and try it out. Complemented w/imported Carib beer, which hit the spot to balance out the spiciness - Eating my way through immigrant-owned small businesses in NYC... - Instagram: Eat_the_Immigrant_NYC

They have a wide variety of food. Their breakfast menu and Trinidad Chinese food is exceptional. However, what over shadows everything is that there service is EXTREMELY SLOWWWWWWWWWWW!!! It doesn't matter what time of the day it is they are slowwwwwwwwww.
