We do this with rapid treatment, affordable services, compassionate care and preventative medicine. Swaims Vet Clinic provides Oklahoma City’s pets with the highest level of veterinary care and customer service. We strive to provide the finest and most compassionate care for each and every patient, often exceeding the expectations of our clients. In order to better serve our clients and patients, we now take appointments Monday - Friday.



"Founders Charles and Helene Swaim first opened the doors of Swaim Serum Company in 1948 as a farm and supply store located in the upper part of Oklahoma City Stockyards. At that time, the company was manufacturing a serum for hog cholera — a virus that caused multiple agricultural epidemics in the late 1800s and early 1900s.Your pet deserves only the finest veterinary care available! Our team at Swaim Serum Veterinary Clinic is committed to treating your pet with care and compassion. Brought my new kitty he was a stray in to check him over. Charlie had a yeast infection in his left ear, they gave me antibiotics to put in his ear. They were very compassionate to him and understanding. We have our follow up today and then scheduling to get him fixed. They gave me the pricing with a detailed description of cost. One of the best vet clinics I have visited, all of the staff is compassionate and nice, the facility is clean and doesn't stink. This is our new vet place.
I was surprised by a $61 doctor fee. I must have missed a sign. They’re very nice and give you plenty of information. I took my puppy to get their first shots and we were only there for about 40min
Worst vet clinic. The veterinarian couldn't tell me how old my dog is. She is a rescue, and then my mother booked an appointment for one of the 4 kittens she has. $61 for the vet to just look at the cat. My mother's cat has an upper respiratory infection and needed antibiotics. The clinic was going to just examine the kitten. My sister had to tell them to give the cat some type of antibiotics. Dont go here. The cat is sneezing, and its nose is crusted, and its eyes are leaking discharge. I rescued 4 kittens. 2 without a mother due to crossing road. I bottle fed them back to life. I will never go back to this clown vet clinic. Thanks for stealing money. I hope you steal more. Big middle finger to you and your staff.
Everyone is so nice and helpful. They listen to all of your concerns and don't try to rush you out. I will say one thing, though: They are now owned by a corporation and, because of that, are a little pricey. They also do not offer any payment plans.
Staff was very friendly from check in to check out. My Luna baby was made to feel at ease with staff. Facility was clean and didn't smell like a kennel, like some vet clinics I've visited. Will definitely recommend to others.
They were very helpful with everything. They are very reasonably priced, too. It sucks when you have to put a healthy dog down for aggression, but their staff went above and beyond calling around, trying to help me find a place for him. In the end, it wasn't possible since he had bit someone. But they were very patient with us and very compassionate. May the Lord bless them for the hard job they have and that they don't seem to have grown numb to it like some clinics.
I definitely used to love this place. It provided everything you needed at a great price. After my last visit, I can assure you it's not the same. Some of the staff are inexperienced children who make the experience extremely uncomfortable. It seems they only offer half of the professional quality and purchasing options as before. I will not return!
Clean, friendly and knowledgeable. They treated our small dog like the princess she is. She had dental surgery and they even followed up on her condition the following day! Great people.
The vet and assistant did a great job with Alex and a grieving pet momma today. I’m so sorry-I can’t think of names right now, I’m a little foggy. But the euthanasia experience was as good as that kind of thing can be.
I’ve been taking my dog to Swaim’s for 11 years. I’ve always been pleased with their service. The vets and vet techs are knowledgeable and friendly. They always answer all my questions and work with me on options for treatment and meds etc. The facility is clean and modern. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. They all make the visit as stress free as it can be for my dog.
