Szechuan Story Hot Pot

2018.05 nothing really special.... It suppose to be special. Food average. Soup average. Decoration average. Service average. Price a bit high. I like one of the hot sauce.. It lump your tougue. Only dinner utensil a little cute. Otherwise it is not worth to go.

I love this place! Their soup base for the hot pot is absolutely delicious. The chef who created this receipt has a real talent. I would also recommend this place to people who love hot pot but can't handle how spicy it can be sometimes- this place is very subtle with their spice and they do it just perfectly. Food is always fresh and when order in they all come neatly packaged. Also their customer service is top notch. I give it 5 out of 5 in a heartbeat.

High fluency, the pot was like a bowling planet so it would give a positive feeling to everything you eat. They do it very modern in there meat, like a French tar tar. Condiments were very special. Even saw customers eat shrimp, poked in sticks. They also add stuff that are rare for hot pot, like shattered shrimp. There juices, are very realistic, not like sugar blended hell in other hot pot. Speechless...... about one thing. But that’s what’s make Szechuan. Pigs brain. I’m telling you, you need to lose your mind for it and then eat it back and eat like a pig. You get the joke?

Really nice, tasty and the staff give you a quality service, make you feel that doesn't matters that you don't speak the language and help you to decide without a problem.

I have tried many hot pot restaurant, this one is outstanding. From the moment I walked in till I walk out everything is flawless. Warm welcome, great service, fresh food, excellent taste and they will to go above and beyond. I had a crave for coral shrimp and they went out to get it for me. This is the best hot pot place in flushing. I definitely will recommend to all my friend and make it as my daily dinning restaurant.

Very nice food in a nice surrounding here. The tables are huge which is a great advantage in a hot pot restaurant when you have many different dishes. The staff are helpful and responsive. If you get a table by the window you can watch the world go by while eating. Peak times are busy but it's worth the wait.

The staff are nice. but I wouldn't go back again. That place Over price. Also they even charged me for hotpot sauce. If you want hotpot go some where cheaper like the one over 37th Ave "99hotpot" they have a reasonable price and it's a buffet.

The hotpot soup flavors were diverse and only okay at best. The ingredients are pretty fresh but overpriced. Staff was great and good decor. The issue with this place is that it doesn't state that you need to pay for hotpot sauce/fruit/utensils. This charge is pp basis and is charged even if you don't get the sauce! Oh btw watch out if you use card, the suggested tip on the credit card receipt is higher than the check. This completely is unforgivable. I give this place a 1 star review for their poor business practices.

Szechuan Story is a new good place to hangout with friends. The decoration is awesome high ceilings. Service is nice definitely 5 starts. Many handmade dishes, must try the cuttlefish balls, shrimp balls and the fresh mignon cube is fresh and tasty too. They had the secret spicy soup ingredients not that spicy but very tasty!
