Any person worth their weight in common sense would know that when you open a store in a predominantly black neighborhood, you stock the store with products that meet that needs of the community you serve. What they've done in this store is stock "white" people fashion and sizes. No urban wear. No "Big & Tall" section. No urban business dress/attire. None of the dress shirts fit large or tall men. They had literally no shirts for 19×36/37! When you walk in, you see non-clothes products that are neutral, however their selections look like you just walked into the "Beverly Hills Gap Store"! Their selections are garbage!

I’ve been here a few times and the employees are warm and welcoming. My only concern is how everything is all over the place, but the prices are to die for. Today I purchased a decorative frame and a vase. I can’t wait to put them in my new apartment!

What's not to love. Great prices on brand name items. 90% of what i own is from TJMaxx and HomeGoods.

It's okay, but not great.
This place has a custodian who is disabled, enrolled in part of a "job-skill" scam-program that doesn't actually advance the workers to move on, save the very rarest cases. Most of the (TJMaxx/Marshalls) locations in the area utilize this as a cheap option for custodial work, because the state and county offers subsidies for the nonprofit that contracts with them. It's a disgusting operation, because the "job coaches" are undertrained, understaffed, and underpaid. Everything about the company is about doing the bare minimum, but the disabled individuals are supposedly given wages for their efforts. However, not a soul will bother to help them obtain bank accounts to keep their funds in.
Knowing that, would you shop here? Well, you should. While the prices on most items are disgustingly high, occasionally you find a bargain on something like cookwear or a garment on clearance. On the whole, the staff are friendly and keep the place in good order. You don't generally see them selling a damaged item, for example. The store is two stores in one: clothing in the TJMaxx and housewares & specialty food items in Homegoods. Many are closeouts and imports from abroad, while the clothing at TJMaxx is closeout from big name manufacturers that sell to larger department stores, like Macy's or Dillard's. Some are from last season, and are okay. It is a good place to pick up intimate apparel for a good price, as well as some women's workwear, or a gift garment for child or man. Shoes are hit or miss. Food items are a treat here, and include many gourmet delights or ingredients. So if you're willing to drop a little cash, you can get a bargain or two on something a little hard to find. Parking is convenient and the atmosphere is fairly pleasant.

They have fresh organic superfoods at fair prices. I love to get raw organic honey, best olive oil, etc.
I also find fine porcelain and containers. They have made in USA wood furniture and beautiful things to create a comfortable home environment.
I love these stores.
