Went for RW on a Saturday. The staff were friendly and food was good. Complimentary house made hummus was tasty. Truffle moneybags were delicious. However, dessert was meh. The cheesecake was frozen and not fully thawed. Overall, great dinner for $30.
Tableside Italian cook shoppe is a neighborhood gem tucked in the corner of 6th street and First avenue. We love the relaxed and homey ambiance of this place. Upon seating, they served us with house bread and 3 complimentary spreads, I added a star for that. Since we were unsure whether we wanted a meat or cheese platter for our appetizer, it was good to know that they serve half meat and half cheese. It was a colorful platter of Parmigiano, pecorino, and creamy dolcelatte with prosciutto soppressata and spicy capicola. It suited beautifully with a selection of a bottle of Italian Chianti. For our main entree, my eyes caught the lobster tail pasta while my partner chose the grilled salmon served with asparagus. Both dishes were delicious but my partner thought that the pasta stood out. We then ordered penna cotta for dessert to share. It was a lovely dinner to be had. All the dishes were delicious, the portions are good, great customer service. This place is a must-try!
The candlelit vibe was romantic and quiet. The focaccia came with a nice flight have hummus, which i liked. We ordered the vegetable platter to share and the lamb meatballs as appetizers and both were tasty. I wasn't a fan of the lobster pasta and the wild boar ragu though. The lobster was overcooked and super chewy.
High quality of Italian food. The home - made pasta is very fresh and you can have it with rich and tasty topping's. Also the veal and the chicken dishes are higly Recomended, they are juicy and flavored. The staff was very professional and friendly. You can get a very good Italian food experience with a fair price.
Tableside is next level. Great vibes. Service is great. Bartender makes amazing drinks. Host/manager is always kind. Every dish that we've had here is excellent. Highlights: Carbon Cucumber: best cocktail in the EV Meatballs Goldenbird Short Rib Ragu This place is better than Lil Frankie's by a mile
To be honest.... I think this was the best restaurant experience of my life. The food was absolutely amazing and to die for. The staff was super friendly and the service was exceptional.
Decent food but the service was way to slow. We went on a weeknight and it took about 1.5 hours to get our food after the appetizers. Nothing special about the dishes.
An experience to be repeated. It's a shame I was doing over-table here, 'cause I just had lunch. The menu looked pretty good. Dee's I'll visit here for sure next time to have a full meal. I had a drink, the Juniper and also had the charcuterie. The drink flavour was unique and bold. You can flavour the spice of the jalapeno while also you taste the strawberry hanging out with the freshness of the lime and gin. The pieces of Serrano, Prosciutto and Salami were really good and flavours and texture well marked and stating their differences. I truly liked this place and I enjoyed the place, decoration and very good service. I really recommend it.
Absolutely lovely on all fronts. Our waiter was so helpful crafting a couple courses for us to share. Everything was tasty, fresh and well seasoned. Couldn’t recommend it enough! We had a lot wine but without that it’s also very reasonable NYC speaking compared to so much “fancier” Italian spots.
The best Italian restaurant I've ever been to. The atmosphere, staff, and drinks were fantastic too. Highly recommend
