Taco Rico Tex-Mex

Friendly staff with a chill hole in the wall ambiance. Good quality Mexican food at a fair price point. While it's not necessarily going to blow your socks off it is tasty. They have a wonderful selection of sauces as well which I enjoy trying.

The food, the sauces, and the guacamole are all very fresh and tasty. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend the chimichangas. Try them to cater your next party. Well worth it.

Great neighborhood spot for quick Mexican. Super friendly staff and a variety of hot sauces. Have the wet burrito!

I've been eating at this place or the one up by University of Miami for many years... maybe 20+ years. Originally it was relatively good value, nothing fancy but good food with great lunch specials.The salsa bar has always been a major attraction. If you went at the wrong time, youd have to wait a bit for a table. It was super popular. At some point over the past 20 years I started focusing on the more healthy meals here and they have kept me coming back. I've always liked their tortilla soup which seems to have just the right smokiness in the flavor. Try it. Then they have a great spinach and mushroom quesadilla. Made with fresh spinach. Now they have vegan and vegetarian options. A great veggie bowl, etc. This is not a high end restaurant, it is good food at great values. They recently wowed me with their mole enchiladas. Not the best I've ever had, but good enough. Great spiciness and complexity in this special sauce. And not expensive. And some of the people have been there from the beginning. Very nice simple fun place.

Fast service, good food, and great prices. Especially Monday Taco Madness with $1 tacos!
