Taco Rico Tex-Mex

One of the best tacos I've ever had. If you're a vegetarian, ask for vegan tacos with sour cream and cheese on it. They are delicious and quite filling. The best part is that a meal here can be cheaper than many other spots in the Miami Beach area. Definitely a must visit if you like Mexican food!

Good prices for food. They have dollar tacos on Monday! This is not an upscale Mexican restaurant (if you want to go, you go to naked tacos, but pay at least twice the plan), but I'm still very pleased. Be sure to return. I like their food, and it's very tasty. Their burrito is a very good and decent size. I always come back. The service is fast. Shrimp quesadilla is delicious. Compared with other restaurants in the area prices are better. They moved from Alton Road to 15th Street and Washington Street.

Visited Taco Rico on 4/2/18 excited because of the rave reviews! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! First, half my food came out lower than room temperature (almost felt refrigerated). I took it back and they remade it. Next batch of food came out hot and looked good to eat. Started digging in and about 1/3 way through, I see something dark in my rice. A closer look and it’s a fly. A big black fly with wings and legs attached. Immediately I quietly went and asked the manager to come to my table. She comes, sticks her bare have in my rice no gloves nothing grabbed the fly out and tells me “there’s no bug in your food. It’s an over cooked piece of rice.” I tell her open her hand and I showed her the legs and wings. She responds “some rice looks like it has legs but it’s just how it looks.” Upset I tell her please take all the food away. She responds “Oh this is about the money...” Walked away, came back and slammed $15 on the table. I never once requested a refund or made a scene. I was so embarrassed that I not only ate some of the food the bug was in but that she was so loud, condescending and rude. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

Awesome food and fast service. Friendliest staff on the beach. Witnessed a guy come in and pick up his ID card that one of the employees found on the beach. The employee even went the extra mile to message the guy on facebook and tell him to come in and pick up his lost ID card. WAY TO GO TEAM

Food was good and prices were very reasonable. The only downfall was ordering take out and not receiving any silverware or napkins! Definitely an inconvenience.
