Was waiting for my car to be serviced next door so decided to wander over and give this place a try.   Ordered guac and chips to start followed by a Chicken Burrito.  Both were really good!  I didn't expect much based on appearance and location but I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food and service was!  I will be back.

This was pretty good food. Just a day trip to Charlotte. There are so many options I'd probably go somewhere else because I like to try different places if I find myself in Charlotte again. They were friendly. The food was very greasy though. I had a burrito and my boys each had quesadilla and we all had puddles of grease.

Very clean and polite staff. Good family atmosphere inside. Tacos, quesadillas, and drinks were good. Prices are a little high.

Incredible!  Fresh made and prepared food.  I live in Fayetteville and now have to travel all the way to Charlotte to eat Mexican food.  They have spoiled all other Mexican Restaurants for me.  When you go, order as you would from the menu, and be sure to ask for a side of "crema de casa".  You won't be able to eat Mexican the same way again.  ¡Gracias mi amigo de El Potosino!

Oh my goodness we're the asada tacos good! So good we ordered seconds! The salsa verde is good enough to drink! Speaking of drinks, the jamaica hibiscus tea was really good too. This is truly a hidden gem, a diamond in the rough. Highly recommend and will visit again soon

Best tacos I've had in Charlotte since moving here 7 years ago. Nothing fancy but the food is so flavourful!!

This place is AMAZING! I love the at home feel and the warmth that the place has as soon as you walk in. The tacos are delicious and very affordable. I will definitely coming back very soon!

Tacos El Potosino is one of those restaurants I passed by 100 times and never saw it in the corner of this plaza. I ordered two quesadillas 1 steak asada and 1 chicken. I figured I'd play it safe. Wow the Asada Quesadilla was awesome! The Pollo Quesadilla was really good but when I return I'll be ordering the Asada. Two thumbs up and I recommend it to others.

I’ve had a lot of places that claim to have authentic tacos around Charlotte, but this by far is my favorite place. Slight pricy for the size of the taco but definitely worth it.

The best Al Pastor tacos I've had in Charlotte. Get that with some Dorado sauce and you're in for a treat! Super nice folk and super clean place to eat.
