I bought a tuxedo dress off the rack for my courthouse wedding. Came here to get it altered to fit me better and couldn't be happier with her work!! I can't see any signs of alteration/stitching where she did her work. Very detail-oriented, knowledgeable, and efficient. Highly recommend. Would give 10 stars if I could!

From jeans and dresses to converting squirts into perfectly tailored skirts, every piece they’ve handled has been impeccable. They even elevated my space by beautifully tailoring my curtains. I am thrilled that I found Esmeralda. I absolutely hate getting alterations done at a store. Booking an appointment with Esmeralda is super easy and she and her husband are very punctual. I had an amazing experience with Esmeralda; I am never going to another tailor again. The prices were very reasonable, she was responsive with a quick turnaround, and the tailoring was of tremendous quality. Within seconds of looking at my garment she knew exactly what I wanted done, and the ease of being able to do it all in my own home was great especially nowadays.

Esmeralda is so amazing! 1 great tailoring work 2 very reasonable pricing 3 great communication and responsiveness Currently they do pick ups and drop offs wherever you are, which is super convenient, but I know they are working on getting their brick & mortar open soon. The tailoring job I gave was not easy either - I needed a wrap, high-low dress shortened by 4 or 5 inches, and there was an additional piece of cloth around the hem. Additionally, there was a tear in the hem that I mentioned didn't need to be fixed, but she took the extra cloth and went above and beyond to fix it. It looks perfect and I will definitely be back in the future.

I have been using Esmeralda's tailoring services for over 3 years. She is truly a master of details when it comes to tailoring pants, jackets and outerwear coats. I am a shorter person 5'4" so tailoring off the rack clothes is a way of life for me. Esmeralda's turnaround times and prices are reasonable/fair considering that this is Washington D.C. where prices for tailoring clothes can be outlandish. I've enjoyed working with Esmeralda and have recommended her tailoring services to a number of people.
