Excellent ice cream and I LOVED the fish cone. It was somehow both crunchy and soft and was filled with custard. Really nice to have ice cream on a hot day and although the line was a bit long, it moved by at a moderate speed. Doesn’t feel overly expensive for ice cream either which I appreciated.Food: 5/5
Tiny indoor space with no seating, there’s usually a line. Outdoor space is really nice to chill and have their ice cream. My personal favorite is the strawberry mango and I like my cone filled with red beans it sounds weird, but it is the perfect balance of sweet and sour and the cone is not super sweet. Kids love it, because they look so pretty. Cones are maid with almond flour, so be careful with nut allergies.
We got the "Matcha Better" and "Straight out of Japan" with great and speedy service! The ice cream itself was very smooth and refreshing while the extra gummy sticks and wafers were really just for decor. The red bean inside the taiyaki was not as fresh or full as I expected, though.Food: 5/5
Way smaller than expected or from what the pictures portray. Flavors of soft serve and sorbet change regularly. All the flavors are pared well together. I got the strawberry lemon sorbet swirl. Perfect on a hot day. They had no Taiyaki ready, and mochi donuts are served on the weekends. It's worth a stop if you're in the area.Food: 4/5
The ice cream was delicious and the presentation is so phenomenal. Highly recommend!! I got matcha ice cream with strawberry drizzle. You can add the unicorn toppings to any ice cream for .50, and the fish-shaped pastry “cones” have sweet Red beans in their tails, which was tasty, and mochi on a stick. The door was super hard to open, and there is almost no space inside. I was here with a walker and everyone was gracious, but just be warned. Plenty of lovely garden and bench and table spaces outside though, and the ocean is just across the road. Not a lot of parking here. You’ll likely have to take the t or parking in a garage.
Love the ice cream here. The cones are fresh waffle cones and nice and warm. Can pick from the menu or build your own. I love the location it’s a perfect spot to sit outside and enjoy ice cream. 100% recommend.Food: 5/5
Absolutely LOVE this place!! Super tasty and adorable. I ordered the Unicorn Taiyaki and my friend ordered the Straight Out of Japan. Perfect choice for dessert.Food: 5/5
The Taiyaki NYC in Boston Seaport was a delightful treat on our latest outing. The whimsical and charming unicorn taiyaki with red bean filling that I ordered was delicious. The playful presentation was a feast for the eyes, while the red bean filling provided a sweet and satisfying flavor profile. My friends opted for the matcha taiyaki with yellow custard filling. It included a colorful mochi stick and drizzle. Our visit to Taiyaki NYC was a memorable and delightful experience, filled with playful, Instagram-worthy desserts. There was a bit of a wait because it is a small location and only 6 people are allowed inside at a time, but the line moves fairly quickly. It's a must-visit spot for anyone in the Boston Seaport area looking for a unique and delicious treat.
There was a line out the door when I came but it moved fairly quickly. I think it is because they had to make the taiyaki to order. After a half an hour wait, I finally got my ice cream. I got the matcha hojicha one and I would say the tea flavor is fairly light. Overall, it was still really good and you cant go wrong with an ice cream on a hot summer night.
Taiyaki NYC, where the ice cream is as tropical as a beach vacation and the lines are as long as a summer day. The Strawberry Mango Sorbet and Matcha Hobicha Taiyaki were decent, but the lack of seating and indoor escape from humidity was a bummer. Prices? Seaport standard. Bring a fan, a chair, and your patience!Food: 5/5
