Lovely little spot with plenty of character! We stopped in for brunch and left very satisfied. Fair prices and the workers made me feel welcomed from the minute I stepped in. The girlfriend is vegan which can be a nightmare when eating out. However, they are very accommodating with the menu and she was able to eat. The meal was worth every dollar. Ivan, our server, was wonderful and very helpful. Do yourself a favor and stop by if you're in the area!
Authentic Mexican food!! This restaurant is around the corner from the 1 Train and R/W stop off the Rector street stop. The food is pretty authentic. I ordered take out but I have dined her before. This has been around for some time so they are doing something right! Service was quick and very friendly! Definitely highly recommend this place!! Check them out!!
Have been coming here for years — always amazing service and consistently delicious food at this family owned business. The taco salad with their homemade dressing is an absolute MUST!
I would say great food but I always get the enchiladas and don’t try anything else because I don’t want to miss out on the enchiladas. So I have to say great enchiladas. The guac is great too. Someday I will be adventurous and try the taco salad. To me, the food is like a homemade meal from a family recipe. I like it a lot. Eating there in person and take out are both equally good food quality.
Great breakfast, owner was very nice. Restaurant was clean. Much better than the overcrowded and overhyped George's next door. This place was empty at 10am on a Saturday which was surprising because the food was excellent and the outdoor seating has a great view of the world trade center.
Underwhelming. I got the chicken burrito and they plopped it on a plate with no presentation. The burrito was flavorless and quite boring. I had a taste of my colleagues chicken with red sauce. It too had no flavor. Maybe the great reviews were of the other food? Dont know and won't try again.
Food was tasty. Service was quick. Decor was fun. Indoor seating really appreciated after a day spent in the chilly outdoors.
This is my first time experience and I had breakfast burritos. It was awesome! The restaurant was very neat and clean, the ambience was good. It is a nice hangout place and they have all variety of Mexican food to try out. Should definitely step in!
Since the reviews looked pretty good, I decided to come for a late lunch on a weekday. The server got my order wrong brought me chicken instead of beef, but they were friendly and the mistake was rectified. The restaurant has a nice outdoor area for when the weather is nice. The food, however, was rather lacking in both flavour and presentation. The flavour of the California Burrito I ordered was quite bland.
Amazing food, very friendly staff. Guac was not prepared fresh, it was kept in refrigerator, thus cold when served with hot food. Apart from the cold guac, food was amazing and staff was very accommodating.
