Take A Break Travel Inc

First time using "Take a Break Tours" for USA shopping and was extremely satisfied. They were well organized, accommodating and very friendly. My group of ladies did lots of shopping and had fun knowing Laurie and Jacques were taking care of us . I will probably not go back to my past tour company and stay with Take a Break for all my USA shopping trips.

This was my first bus trip with this company. Very disappointed and the enjoyment I could have had was replaced by frustration. This being a long distance trip I feel the bus should have been equipped. There was no where to put a cup,no place for any belongings except for the overhead compartment. The trip started with being scolded for not being right on time however I was not directed where the bus would be exactly which then led to further scolding and emberrassing situation in a venue and at no fault of my own. People were treated like children. The host Lori was very ridged and even told to board the bus when early! To top it off I was locked in the bus while all others were in a shop. The host was aware I was in the bathroom. The driver was summoned by another passenger and came out but I had to flag this gentleman down otherwise I would of been locked in the bus until everyone came back. No apologies given. This was just a bad experience for me. The one tour was so boring and a waste of time. Just a terrible experience. I hope this company learns from this. Not acceptable

I have taken many day tours,many with Lori and have enjoyed them immensely always lots of fun.

I have taken many day trips and longer trips with this company. Every trip has been excellent. Everything is organized and the wonderful tour hosts make sure all runs smoothly. I will be travelling with them for years to come.

Take a Break Travel is not supplying the services of their advertised tour. We did their day tour to Concordia Club October fest, this was a huge disappointment today Oct 12, 2016 they advertise Get a feel for German culture with special events traditional folk dancers and oom-pah music this just did not happen. If the band playing 60's music the Beach Boys, and Tom Jones is German culture that's a new one to me. They had a mom and daughter playing the cow bells, that was it for entertainment and the mother said she had another engagement to go to so their "entertainment" was cut short. The main meal was ok, but the desert was anything but fresh, the apple strudel was mushy and the apple was shrivelled up, probably previously frozen and this was the only desert. Disappointing false advertising from Take A Break on the German Culture. Take a Break was not interested in our feedback. Due to the fact that Take a Break Travel gears their tours to the older retired sector, they are not forth coming on our comments.
