Cutest little place! I’d consider this to be an apothecary. There is so much to look at and the products are laid out nicely for customers to see. The prices vary but each product is worth the value it sells for. They also offer personal treatments. There is a small area in the back plentiful with beautiful crystals and gems. It really brings warmth into the already bright & sweet store. Would recommend if you’re looking for some new face treatment products or baby care products, there’s so much to look at!

If you have not been to Take Care yet, I suggest you RUN there. It is such a gem and we are so lucky to have them in DC. The shop itself carries the absolute best of natural beauty and skincare. I also suggest you book an appointment for a facial treatment at their in-house spa. I went for my first facial yesterday with Regina and truly don't have words for how amazing it was. I have had facials all over the DMV and this one was by far the best experience I have ever had. The environment itself is clean, approachable, and calming and Regina took time to ask me about my specific skin goals before starting the service. I LOVED knowing that they are using extremely high quality and natural products in the service. This facial was the perfect mix of effective skin treatments and the most relaxing facial massage you'll ever have. I can't wait to go back again soon!!

This is a gem of a shop. Their selection of clean beauty is excellent and they have a lovely selection of essential oil infused candles. Their facials are also outstanding. All of their estheticians are wonderful, but Erin is next level.

If you are looking for a thoughtfully curated store to buy natural skincare, makeup and wellness products please stop by and visit Becky at the Take Care Shop. It’s a sparkling gem in Georgetown. I moved out of DC but I still buy products from her online. Becky does her research, is very knowledgeable about the lines she carries and understands what the active ingredients do. Take Care Shop also has a great Instagram page that is fun and educational. If you have time I also highly recommend a facial as well. It’s such a calming place to experience and Erin is fantastic!

This place rocks! Staff are really welcoming and kind, products are great quality. Would highly recommend stopping in to check it out even if you don’t plan on buying something! Very cool minimalist vibe

I absolutely adore this place. I’ve gotten a few facial treatments done by Regina and I cannot recommend her or the shop enough. Usually I don’t fall asleep during facials because it’s hard for me to relax that much, but I passed out during my most recent facial because I was so relaxed. If you’re looking for a relaxing and comforting experience, I’d go here!

One of my favorite shops in all of DC. I love how knowledgeable Becky is about all of the products and she’ll be honest and tell you if something might not be right for your skin needs. It’s just such a joy to shop in the store. Don’t even get me started on the spa services. I’ve gotten a few facials post-COVID and they take so much care to make sure it is a completely safe experience. But the facials are literally out of this world. I get transported to another planet during them I swear. And Heather and Regina both gave me really great advice based on what they noticed about my skin. Can’t say enough good things about this place.

I ordered two products online to have shipped to my house. The shipping was super fast, and the package came with some awesome samples and a sweet hand written thank you note. I will definitely purchase from here again!

Love the aesthetic and love the products-- tends to be organic and/or plant based, minimal additives.. My wife got a lip scrub here she really likes and I bought the Laurel lip balm lavender which is really moisturizing without the excessive shine of most lip products. Also, the owner and employees are friendly and attentive, answering questions and making suggestions. Best part, they have a beautiful sink where you can try out many of the products. Highly recommend this place if you're in the market for personal care products!

This store is genuinely wonderful and one of a kind in DC. All of the products I've tried have been truly effective and it's especially nice to know they're all cruelty free, eco-friendly and non-toxic. Everyone in the store is kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the brands. It's my favorite store in Georgetown.
