Talbot's-Missy

I walked in at 10:30 am. There were three women working there. Only one other customer who was actually checking out. I had a list of items to purchase for an upcoming trip. I had preselected these things but needed to try them on. No one greeted me. No one spoke to me or even acknowledged that I was in the store. About 80% of my wardrobe has come from Talbots for the last 15 years. I was wearing their clothes at the time, so they should have recognized me as a customer. I tried several things on. Still no attention from the staff. I decided that they obviously didn’t need my business. Except they did. By this time there were no other customers in the store. Going to find a new place to shop.

Always love Talbot’s. Traditional, yet stylish clothing at reasonable prices. They have a nice selection of petite sizes and easy parking right beside the store. The sales people and manager are always pleasant and helpful. Although another Talbot’s is 10 minutes closer to my house, whenever possible I prefer to go to the River Oaks location just because of the ease of getting in and out of the store. Further for me, they tend to have a better selection of petite sizes

I enjoy shopping at Talbot's. The staff always are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable not to mention the epitome of best in class customer service. They also inform customers about special sales or discounts upon arrival. Today I shopped with my 26-year-old daughter who invariably finds youthful, fun but high quality ensembles at Talbot's. This isn't just your mother's favorite store. There is something for everyone and the Fall 2020 collection is the best one in at least a few years. All that to say, if I need casual, professional, lounging or special event attire, I always shop Talbot's first. Great sales. Consistently good quality, value and selection. Whether online or in-person at a store, Talbot's always offers a "feel good" shopping experience.

I love shopping here. Of course Talbots has excellent quality clothes, and they make shopping a pleasure, no hassle returns. What makes me drive out of the way to go to this store is the staff. They are always helpful. They will assist you in picking out just the right outfit, they start dressings rooms for you after and set them up wonderfully. if they don't have exactly what you are looking for they will check the catalogue for you. I mistakenly left my phone there, and they grabbed it and were on the way out the door to give me my phone back. Great service really sets this store apart for me. You can buy great clothes online, but when shopping experiences are as good as these I will always stop in the store.

One cashier said I'll be with in a minute then waited on a customer that walked in the after my request for help in the shoe section....Only approached her because the older team member on the floor pretended not to see me with shoe in hand after passing by several times. Wished for the team member that took my order for two dresses over the phone and then when I arrived to pickup was friendly and professional obviously well versed in proper customer service...no such luck. p.s.i bought the $139 shoes online because they were just too yummy to pass up

Talbot's is a great popularly priced store for mature women's apparel and accessories. Their reward program is terrific. Love locations near me that are outside of a mall such as West Gray and Rice Village. Easy online shopping also with no hassle returns.

I've never been inside, but I workout in the garage behind it sometimes. The back door is clean and the store seems fine. And I like the font they use - four stars!

Great Place to shop for petite womens clothing. Very helpful staff. The Woodlands store in the mall has been completely remodeled if you are up that way.

This is a large nice store. I was desperately looking for a poncho in small and Shelly at this store was so kind to locate it for me after I had been looking all over for it.

Wonderful staff and management. Fun place to find pretty things to wear. Excellent travel clothes.
