What a relief to find a nice place to buy your girl a new dress without having to go out to somewhere like the galleria. Walked in and was immediately greeted by the nice girl running the shop. She went right to work helping to pick out dresses for the event and even recommended some nice matching items in the corners of the store. Super helpful. For a guy like me who likes to be quick in and out, bringing a girl who wants to browse forever, made my day a lot easier. 5 Stars!
A couple weeks ago, I was shopping at this location when I purchased a top and a pair of sneakers. Upon leaving the store, I checked my receipt because the total was higher than I had expected. After further inspection, I noticed I was charged $30 more than the listed price on the tag of the top. I immediately walked back in and let the store associates know I had been incorrectly charged. They looked into it and informed me that they had tagged the top incorrectly. This really was more than I thought the top was worth I’ve seen the brand other places so I informed them I did not want it at the new price. They then informed me of the return policy that I could only return for store credit. I knew this policy but wouldn’t have expected it to be enforced when the store incorrectly charges you for something? So basically, the store prices something wrong then proceeds to force you to leave your money with them? Overall, it is $30, so I wasn’t going to cause an argument with associates, but this type of customer service is very disappointing when you are spending large sums of money at a store.

I went to Hemline for the first time over the weekend and did not really enjoy it. I highly recommend to not buy a gift here. My husband bought me a vest that I wanted to exchange for another color the vendor has many colors in this vest. If Hemline did not carry those colors, I wanted to return it. Neither of these were my options. Return policy: Can only exchange for store credit within 28 days. My husband was told at the City Center location if I wanted another color, they could work with their vendors to get another color. I found out after going to the River Oaks located AND City Center location AND calling - this was not an option. Note: I tried really hard to find something else to exchange!! And I failed! I browsed for a long time at both places, and could not find anything I was in love with. I am sure if I keep going and going, I would find something. The staff: Maybe I look poor? Who knows. But I felt an uncomfortable around the staff. Barely got acknowledged at the River Oaks location. I shop at several places in the River Oaks/Galleria area, and have never felt this uncomfortable. Needless to say, I am keeping my vest and I am not going to try to exchange it again. My poor husband really tried, but I do not want to return to this store.
Great selection of clothes, would have bought if customer service was available. One of the woman was actually demanding and rude.
Love their imported clothing from France and Italy, great quality and price range.
The lady working here was so sweet and helpful, great customer service still exists!!
