One of our vehicles decided to kick the bucket after close to 250,000 miles. Tameron was the fourth place we stopped on the trek to purchase a "new to us vehicle". There were 10+ sales personnel waiting to assist us. I'll elaborate more on this later in the review. The sales process here is a little different than most dealerships we've been to in the past. Prices are not on the windshield. You are paired with a salesperson, give them your ballpark price, and this is where it gets clunky. They step into an office with a sales manager to discuss things for a little while and finally bring you a vehicle within your price range. From here you can look at the vehicle, take it for a test drive, or decline it out right and ask to see something else.If you decide you don't like that vehicle the process starts all over again. It is not a fast process. We spent a lot more time here than I was ever anticipating but in the end my wife found a vehicle she liked. It was two times pre owned but in wonderful condition. Things I didn't like: the sheer volume of sales personnel lend itself to general overcrowding. There are so many sales personnel they literally block the doorways sometime. I included a couple of pictures documenting that. They aren't being rude or trying to block the door, but it's challenging to walk through them when there are so many. On the particular day my wife and I went it was really hot outside. They were hanging out in the shade but at any one point there were 10 or 11 waiting to pounce on "prey in Tameron desert Savannah". When I asked someone about that, my answer was, "Oh, that's just at this door!" The staff is so eager to help you that we hadn't pulled into the parking lot for more than a minute, when one of them knocked on the glass and opened our car door to offer assistance. I have nothing, ZERO, negative things to say about customer service. Our customer service experience here was exceptional. The process is where I experienced the challenges. Yes, in the end we were paired with a nice vehicle for my wife but the amount of time it took to get there was not enjoyable. While we waited we were offered drinks soda, coffee, or water. The paperwork aspect of the process was quick and easy. Our salesman called us a couple of days later to follow up.
I started out with My service advisor in the morning, then talked with Greg who gave me the appraisal value of my car and they were very good. When I came back Greg was busy with another guest and Andrew had met me in the parking lot and he went and told Greg that I was there and he asked him to help me till he could get free. I really like Andrew so I was very happy to stay with him. I have never met anyone at the dealership that I didn’t like. I love Tameron and hope to be with y’all a long time to come.

I don't know how to write reviews so I usually don't but for this dealership, it is well worth trying and I'm sorry in advance if it's a long one. As soon as my husband and I pulled onto the lot and parked we were greeted by Andrew, usually, I'm not too fond of being greeted right away but Andrew wasn't aggressively pushy like others I've experienced so he was welcomed and we did have an appointment scheduled anyways. We let him know what we wanted/needed in a vehicle, where we wanted the price point of monthly payments to be, and the fair trade-in value on our current vehicle. He actually listened and didn't try to show us or put us into something we didn't want, he was amazing and I have never had a good experience with a person selling me a vehicle until now. Billy was also fantastic and actually, everyone working on our deal was just amazing, there really aren't words that could express our gratitude for the wonders they performed to get us into the used vehicle that we wanted/needed. The detailing team did an awesome job on the truck as well, it looked even better than when we first saw it. Everyone that talked to us made us feel like our voice mattered and that they really wanted us to be happy and not just their bottom dollar. If we ever decide to get another vehicle or trade later down the road I will be returning to Tameron Honda, I won't even waste my time going anywhere else like I did before we went there because let me tell you it was an absolute nightmare. We thank the entire team at Tameron Honda for their time helping us, you have no idea how much this means to my family and me. This isn't just a used truck we wanted, to us, it is a massive step into helping us have the advantage of building our home by being able to get and carry the materials we need ourselves. Thank you again for all that you guys do every day for your customers.
We visited Tameron Honda yesterday evening, and ended up leaving in a 2022 Honda Odyssey EX-L!! We had an excellent experience, and if and when it’s time to trade in or buy another vehicle we will definitely be going back for sure, our salesman was Jacob, he was amazing, and knew the answer to every question I had about the vehicle we where looking at!!! His personality made was amazing, and I would recommend him to anyone wanting to buy a new or used vehicle!!! Thank you Jacob for everything, because of you we found the exact vehicle we where looking for!!!
Excellent customer service! My Dad recommended them and I'd do the same. Our new to us car is in really good shape and things that need fixing are being handled as quickly as possible. I know its a tough time to buy a car and their process is a bit lengthy, but their customer service makes the process worth it. I'd definitely work with Maggiesales rep, Billymanager, AlexF&I guy and Will our personal service guy again.
My family and I could not thank this dealership enough!!! On a trip to the beach our Honda Odyssey started experiencing issues on highway 65. We were just 20 miles away from Tameron so I immediately called them. Will was so incredibly nice from the very get go and could feel our stress with very young kiddos. Their dealership was absolutely packed yet they fit us in and serviced our van and it only held us up 2 hours. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for being so gracious and kind and fixing our issue and ensuring our safety! The bonus were the sodas provided to guests as this little guest in the picture was very pleased with his own special drink. I would recommend this dealership to anyone!
Tony at the counter was extremely friendly. He explained the problem, what was going to be done and cost, before the work was started. Moreover, with Christmas being only days away, Tony was somehow able to get me a new transmission which were back ordered and Ishmael and Jose installed my transmission, having my car ready to drive before Christmas. With Tony's customer service etiquette at the desk and Ishmael's and Jose's hard work in labor, the results were excellence in service and repair. You can not go wrong with service at Tameron Honda!
BUYER BEWARE! If you're coming in there using your own financing company you will get turned away. We came in today wanting a particular car and test drove it. First issue.....they quoted the price 3,000 more than what it was priced online and when shown the price they immediately changed it. Second issue....once me and my husband decided this was the car we wanted, we presented them with the actual check from Navy Federal. The young lady stated it would be an issue and asked if we would like to finance through them. We declined and she stated she could possibly get us a better rate. Again, we declined. She went in to speak with her manager and the manager came over and stated they did not have a finance agreement with Navy Federal. I have never heard of such. Before he could further go into any other detail, we thanked them and left. I have financed 4 different cars with 3 different dealerships through Navy Federal. I have never had an issue. Worse experience ever!
On 12/13/22 I negotiated a price with the general sales manager, Shaun Yan, for a '22 Honda Accord. He asked me was I financing and I answered yes. I called the next day 12/14/22 to get the dealership to send my credit union the title application and sales agreement for my car loan through them. Of course, they had a better interest rate. Shaun informed me that my credit union wasn't in their network. Shaun stated that he only agreed to the negotiated price because he THOUGHT I was financing through Honda. I informed him that he asked me was I financing, not was I financing through Honda. He then said he would not honor the negotiated price. For clarification, I asked him if I came with a check for the negotiated price would he sell me the car. He answered no. He offered to drop the price by $500 if I went with Honda financing. I respectfully declined. I feel so sorry for the salesman Kayden Thrasher because he missed out on his commission. It's one thing when a salesman is shady, but the sales manager. PLEASE DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! P.S. I bought the car from another Honda dealership on 12/15/22 and got an even better deal.
