I cannot say enough about the high quality of service I received at Tameron Hyundai from Citron. The first visit he made sure to greet us at the door and took time to really understand what my wife and I were looking for. He was patient and let us drive multiple cars before we found the one that fit our criteria and budget. He was very attentive and met every need we had. He kept us informed throughout the process and made sure all of our questions were answered before we left. He exemplified their motto of “How can we earn your business” and I will return for any future car needs because of the personalized touch he gave us. He went above and beyond what some other dealerships are willing to do and that made all the difference when we were deciding where to do business. Thanks Citron and Tameron Hyundai!
This dealership is one of its on. My salesman Felipe was very personable in making sure that I received exactly what I was looking for through ensuring each visit to the dealership was not wasted and was progressive! I have NEVER experienced salesman like the team I encountered here at Tameron in Hoover. The other positive I would like to give is that Felipe was VERY knowledgeable about the vehicle I showed interest in both prior to coming on-site and while we communicated about their inventory until I was able to come to the dealership. Furthermore, I am grateful that Felipe was unafraid to go to his managers to inquire about information I needed to help complete the sale. If Felipe didn't know something which was NOT often at all and was so minute that for me personally, getting the answer was not important he was not afraid to say that, but he ALWAYS found the answer for me quickly and respected my time no matter how small my inquiry was! Overall this dealership did not hassle me, from the sales appointment manager setting up my visit, to my salesman ensuring my ENTIRE experience went smooth and how I needed, I would never hesitate to come back or refer someone to get a vehicle from this dealership. The plus side to my experience is that I not only walked away with the vehicle I dreamed of getting, but Felipe ensure I knew that if I ever needed something answered or needed verification on something after I left just let them know! And don't worry I tested that out unintentionally! Felipe held up to his word. The only negative I would give right now about my experience, is that I had to leave! They made me and my family feel so at home!
WOULD GIVE NO STARS IF I COULD! This is the most abhorrent place of business I have ever come across in my life. They completely lied to my husband and I, and they had him drive the 2+ hours to Birmingham from Auburn for a car that didn't exist. They completely pulled a bait and switch on us KNOWING we have a newborn at home and had to make special accommodations to get up there for this nonexistent vehicle. I am FURIOUS that someone could do this to another person and not have any remorse. We were promised a Santa Fe for a certain price, and they knew my husband was coming from out of town. Once he got there it was conveniently sold to someone else even though we were told it was waiting for us. They then tried to "do us a favor" and sell us a different Santa Fe for $10k more than was discussed on the phone. Be warned if you are doing business with "Andrea" she will get you there for a car that isn't real, and you will never meet her. I have left a message with the GM, but at this point it will do us no good. We will never get the time back that was wasted dealing with them. I hope whoever reads this decides to take their hard earned money elsewhere, and that these people do not get a DIME!!!
I want to acknowledge Salesperson Mark Hodgson for the assistance he provided in my recent purchase from Tameron Hyundai. He was very professional and informative regarding the vehicle I purchased. He is certainly an asset to the company and so pleasant to work with. I was not pressured into buying the vehicle but after sharing all the details and information I needed I made my purchase with ease. I had looked at other vehicles at other dealerships which were comparable to the one I purchased and had dealt with other salespeople however, Mark closed the deal. He is to be commended and I would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. It was a great experience..
One name: Christina! Ask for her when you walk in the door especially if you’re a woman looking for a car. Heck, no matter how you identify, when you are looking for a car just ask for Christina. My husband and I were looking to buy a 2023 Santa Fe to replace our 2017 Santa Fe Sport, which actually didn’t need to be replaced. It’s still terrific. Anyway, Christina made the whole sales process so pleasant from finding exactly what we wanted, a 2023 Santa Fe Calligraphy, to completing the last bit of paperwork. She knows her vehicles and answered all of our questions about every feature. I hate negotiations so I leave the room while the hubby hashes it out. This time I left the office with a bottle of water and a much-needed chocolate. Only another woman can understand that a little bite of chocolate can soothe nerves. And a hit of sugar can revive a tired mind, too. My point is that she was attentive as a salesperson to details about her clients. She cared and wanted to be sure we had a really positive experience there and left happy. Paperwork has definitely improved to more tablet-friendly documentation since we were there 5 years ago.
Pretty pushy on signing a deal. Called before visiting and was told no mark ups or games and even discounts they could give us on a Tucson. Had a really nice test drive, then came the $5k "Protection Package" and the push to sign a deal when we told were just looking and wanted to think it over for a night. It just felt pretty aggressive and that we weren't listened to or valued as a customer. Recommend getting price in writing before visiting.
Exceptional experience. Our sales consultant, Citron Choice, was top notch. Couldn't ask for a better person to deal with on buying a vehicle. Entire sales team was very friendly and courteous. Would not hesitate in referring folks to this dealership.
Mr. Walt was very polite and tried to do his best to get my car on time but the dealership didn’t have the required tire so I had to come back the next day. After talking to Mr. Walt the next day, he said he was gonna call TRITON PROTECT to file a claim about the wheel and told me he was gonna call me with an answer about it which he never did. It’s been almost 2 weeks since but I haven’t had any issues with the tire so I guess the wheel didn’t suffer. Anyway, I know I can comeback anytime and any of the guys will be able to help cuz most of them are very nice.
Citron was an exceptional sales agent! His approach & demeanor made us feel comfortable. He projected a positive attitude that won our trust and put us at ease. We didn’t feel pressured & felt he was trying to serving us rather than selling us!
So far my experience has not been great. I've been trying to buy a vehicle for the past three weeks. I talked with someone and set up an appointment for last Saturday. So my husband and I showed up to our appointment and no one even acted like they knew we had an appointment. I even confirmed that day via text. So a salesperson hastily helped us, until his appointment came in and we were pushed onto someone else. About 30 minutes later, someone came to help- although there weren't many customers and a lot of sales. So we had to give the rundown for the third time. Finally, we get to see an older model of the suv, but we're told we can't drive it and they have no idea when any would be available to drive a newer model. They wanted me to give a deposit for a model coming in Sept/ Oct, but only could inform me It has fewer features. So I said I asked for information on it and they said it's online. Ok... So the trip was a complete waste. They also were interested in appraising my trade-in, which was another reason I came in person. I'm really confused why they push you to come in if they're less than helpful and have nothing to show. I did some research on the lower model and it had none of the features I want in my vehicle. And the only follow-up I got was a very unconcerned mellow text. My questions are never answered and I can't even get a price... Weeks later. I’m in contact with an out-of-state dealership which has been way more helpful. Sad I have to go this route. I was in sales for many years and this group does not have it. Kindness, helpfulness, and a bottle of water can go a long way. I will update if things change, but super unlikely.
