Tandur Indian Kitchen

Americanized indian food with good presentation. Went for lunch one Friday afternoon, ambiance is modern, staff is friendly, food portion size is just right for one person, little more expensive compared to other Indian restaurants given the quantity of food but I wudn't mind for a better experience. However if you are looking for authentic indian food, this place may not be for you as tikka masala with paneer and veg biryani bowl what we tried were lower on the spice scale and authentic indian food lover may find food on the sweeter if you will side. This is not a bad thing given the crowd they are targeting. The place was busy and manager himself was diligently checking with customers about their experience.. I'd go back again and try newer stuff.

Ate at this place the second day of opening. Loved the interior. Really nice menu options. Friendly staff. Food was really good and fast. The two drinks at cash register, try both. Personal favorite Chicken Naanchos and Kerala Coconut Curry. Another fav to try Chicken Samosas.

I was really excited about this for a while when Charlotte Agenda started reporting on it before it opened. Unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. We started with the naanchos which were incredible. They're nachos made with naan. The naan works great for nachos and the sauce was delicious. It tasted like a Tikka Masala sauce. I got a mango lassi drink as well which didn't taste much like mango. We also got a mint ginger lemonade that was good. For our entrees, we got Tikka Masala with chicken and Kerala Coconut Curry with lamb meatballs. Both came with basmati rice and naan. The Tikka Masala sauce was very bland. It was especially disappointing after the sauce they used on the naanchos was so good. The coconut curry was a little better, but still not great. They were very friendly and helpful as soon as we walked in. When we said we hadn't been there before, they were quick to explain the menu and give us recommendations. It's a fast casual restaurant and we got our for pretty quickly. If I were to come here again, I would probably just get appetizers since I was not impressed with the entrees.

Tandur is a chain that serves Indian flavored food. Located in south park nice neighborhood, clean restaurant, pleasant staff, straightforward menu. Food was disappointing and not cooked right, over-spiced undercooked. Okra fries were good.

Indian cuisine restaurant with a different touch, simple, tasteful and flavourful typical Indian food. Nice place with good ambience. People are friendly and the guy at the counter did a fantastic job explaining the menu. Nicely presented and well made.

Very relaxed and ambient location. Food was good but quantity doesn’t match the price. I will definitely have to make another visit here to try their other menu items.

Value for money. Quick grab and limited choice. Bowls are good but wraps are average. Obviously its not authentic Indian cuisine but whatever they did to the dishes was a great experiment. Never had something like this before.

Let's face it: Indian food is habit forming. Not only do the spices used have healing properties but they stimulate pleasure chemicals like dopamine in the brain. Most places are just too expensive to support my habit of eating it twice a week. But this restaurant has everything at less than $10. Even the mango lassi is a good deal. However I was hungry and a quick look around the dining room revealed other bored and hungry faces. The service was quite slow and my delicious vegetable korma was in a luke warm condition when it finally arrived at my table. I was too hungry by that point to complain and send it back. I hope it was just an untrained cook and not a fundamental problem with their formula because I would like to go here often. UPDATE: I tried the other location and the food came out hot and delicious and quickly. I didn't even wait 5 minutes.

The food here was flavorful, well prepared and the plate presentation was beautiful. The entire restaurant was full of intoxicating smells. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed by the lack of spice level.

Very clean, friendly staff and liked the food. I ordered tikka masala sauce with paneer cheese! It comes with rice and naan.
