Our first time there. Tango Argentinian Grill in Arlington: amazing.
Fantastic food, very different seasonings and combinations than I generally encounter, amazing cocktails (the Tangotini made with house-made pineapple vodka was killer - my wife and I both had way too many of them), attentive staff, nice well-organized but homey space, even had some very nice (but not intrusive) live music from a trio of Berkeley students. Definitely a family place, and casual dress is totally fine.
We had the mixed grill for two, ended up taking half of it home there was so much food. Prices were about what I'd expect for a better quality meal & drinks, but not outrageously expensive either.
We'll definitely be back!

The food was solid and the space is very pleasant. The service was a touch slow and it wasn't especially busy. The server was very nice and helpful however.
It's not like a mind blowing Argentinian cuisine, but it's very good and priced appropriately. You won't pay Boston prices, but it's a good spot for an evening out in Arlington.

A colleague had mentioned that he enjoyed the food here and it had recently been featured on a local television show that highlighted the restaurant's Argentinian menu. I visited here with my wife and daughter on a Friday afternoon around 5:00 PM. It was relatively early, so the place was not crowded. I was greeted by a well-dressed gentleman who asked if we had reservations: we did not, but I was seated immediately. The waitress was very friendly when she served us, but was not as attentive through the meal as I would hope she would be. We started with beef and chicken empanadas. They weren't my favorite because I do not like peppers, but my wife and daughter loved them. My daughter said that they were the best she had since her trip to Puerto Rico. I ordered a sirloin steak, medium-rare, while my wife ordered a skirt steak, medium. My daughter ordered a fried chicken breast with a fried egg on top. They switched my wife's and my order: I got a medium done sirloin steak, she got a skirt steak done rare. My daughter's food was excellent. Both steaks came with an option for a variety of sauces at an extra charge, but we declined. My wife and daughter raved about the sweet potato/butternut squash that came with their meals. I ordered home-made fries, which were very tasty. The bill, with tip, came to $110, with no liquor. Parking is on-street at metered spaces in a bust downtown. At the time we visited, we found a space within a short distance of the site. They have portions of the restaurant available for large parties, and there were two such areas occupied at the time we were there. All in all, we decided that if were nearby and hungry, we would try it again, but we would not go out of our way to do so.

Fantastic beef! Not many other choices for those with red meat dietary restrictions. Tried the salmon and it was very good. Not many white meat choices.
Good overall
