Nice gluten free place. The service is good and nice variety of options. Very quick service and good ingredients. The only thing we did not like is that there are no restrooms.Food: 5/5
A nice place with great food. The place is small and quaint, so not a lot of room for people inside, but they prepare your food pretty fast. I got the cheese bread, the traditional was really good. I also got a spicy one, but it wasn't really that spicy. Overall a great experience.Food: 5/5
It smelled really good inside Tap. I ordered the Lean Steak Club Egg Wrap and cheese breads. The food was prepared fast and tasted really delicious. The presentation was great. The staff were friendly and informed me about happy hour specials. I was not hungry when I visited with my kids. I felt satisfied afterward, and my belly felt really comfortable. The monster Açaí bowl was delicious. It’s more economical to order a large bowl and share instead of two small ones in my opinion. I probably would try the chicken egg wrap next time. Renzo Gracie Members receive discount for orders. I added the savings to my tips for the kind staff. It’s nice to have Tap in our neighborhood.
This is the right place for a quality organic gluten free food!! I had a Club Chicken Tapioca which was perfectly cooked, fresh, crispy and tasty. And one baby açaí bow with strawberries on the top. Definitely recommend this little taste from Brazil and don’t miss the amazing CHEESE BREAD, from 4pm-6pm, you TAKE 3 and PAY 2.
The food here is absolutely incredible. My husband has Celiac Disease, so the fact that they are 100% gluten-free is WONDERFUL for his needs. Annnd the fact that they are 100% tasty is wonderful for mine! There are two locations, and the food and general experience was mostly the same at each, for us. This location had slightly faster service and is a little larger, with a bit more seating. The first time we went Midtown East location, we got two of the plain/original cheese breads to share, and couldn't stop raving about them. I got the monster acai bowl, and 24oz was way too much for me to finish it, but the toppings sounded the best. I realized after the fact that I probably could've gotten the 16oz and just specified those toppings. Anyway, it was PHENOMENAL. I love acai bowls anyway, but this was so fresh, flavorful, and amazing, especially with the flavor from the banana and then the crunch from both the coconut and the granola. The granola is incredible, but it does have nuts, so be advised if that's an issue for you. My husband got the lean steak club on tapioca, and he said it was excellent. We loved our experience here so much that we kept mentioning it again, and actually cancelled our previous lunch plans the next day to go again, this time to the Upper West Side location, which was just as fantastic. We loved what we ordered so much that we didn't branch out at all and just got the same things again - but with more cheese bread. Before we left to catch a flight home we aren't NY natives, we got more of the cheese bread delivered, and brought it with us as an in-flight snack. We are sharing some with a chef friend back home to see if he can figure out how to make something similar. Small note: There are no restrooms here, but they do leave a big bottle of germ-x by the register. Also, the water is free and self-serve. So refreshing! There's limited seating at both, and the place can be busy at lunch rush, but the food will be amazing and you can always order ahead for pick-up if you're in a rush. We LOVE this place and would recommend it to anyone. The pricing is fair for NYC, the food is incredible, and honestly, we paid twice as much a few times on our trip for food that wasn't half as memorable. Don't skip this place if you're near either location!
É aquele lugar que lembra nosso país em todos os detalhes. Cada sabor, cheiro e música. Simplesmente incrível!! Não deixem de vir aqui. OBS: Que comida boa, meu Deus!!Food: 5/5
This was the first place I stopped for food in NYC. I have to say, I can't imagine the food tasting any better than this. Also, the service was phenomenal. I explained I was new here and they were more than happy to help me select a delicious breakfast. They absolutely earned a 5 Star rating.
