So sad I do not live in Portland. I would eat here all the time! Had this place about 3 times and was not disappointed once. They're food is delicious, portions are great for the price, and employees are welcoming. Definitely recommend!! Garlic Stir Fry, Yakisoba noodles, and Sweet Basil dishes were amazingly good.
I love Tarad Thai! My only recommendation for you is to not get stuck with ordering your usual Thai item! Every time I try something different, I’m never disappointed! But if I’d have to pick my absolute favorite, I’d have to say the pad kra prao pictured or the Tom yum noodle soup! My husband loves the Thai boat noodle soup as well pictured! Their appetizers are delicious, so you really can’t go wrong! The service is really friendly as well.
Amazing salad rolls and peanut sauce ! Friendly staff. Large portions ! Great Thai food, would definitely recommend for anyone in the area
Best yakisoba I've ever had. Perfectly blended flavors and quick service. Great atmosphere as well, just an all around fantastic place.
Pad Pong Garee - crab yellow curry with rice is amazing. The staff were genuine, efficient, and kind. This will be a go-to for me.
One of the best phad Thai I’ve ever tried! Huge portions as well
My wife and I both got sick after eating here--bloat, stomach cramps. We love Thai food and have never gotten sick before, but I guess there's a first for everything. The service was okay, the flavor was okay, the prices were okay. I definitely wouldn't recommend.
I went on a Saturday around 5pm so there were just two other tables so if you don't want to wait long I suggest arriving before rush hour. The service was very friendly and it feels like a tiny Thai Joint. I was able to try Gaeng Hung lay and a Veg/Tofu Fried Rice. The Pork belly was a bit dry to my taste, but the curry had a good taste to it, I personally prefer bolder flavors but I'd certainly order it again. The veg tofu fried rice could have used more vegetables for sure, but it tasted delicious and smoky, I'd order it again with a side of fried eggs. I'll be returning to this restaurant very soon and this time I'll make sure I take a better good at their small market.
Gorgeous curry! Expertly seasoned so that a blossom of flavor greets your nose and mouth. The thai tea is anything but one note - different flavors depending on the layer you're drinking. I highly recommend this place! I'll be going back to try everything :
Tasty pad Thai and lunch combo options! Their prices are a couple dollars higher than most for lunch and other Thai restaurants. It could be due to the leases in this part of town being really high. With that said, I've never had a bad dish here. Great peanut sauce and awesome stir-fries. A small caveat is that dishes are lighter on veggies than I'd like. Also, the bathroom needs a serious remodel. I realize it's an older building but it looks a bit delapidated. On the upside it's awesome they do offer many gluten free customizations--even for Pad see iew. Overall 4.5 stars. Kind and helpful wait staff as well!
