Target is a good store but why are they not removing the carts from the side if their building? It truly looks messy and keeps people from being able to park within that area. Store manager you need to be on top of this with your workers.
This review is from February 8, 2020: Store # 1076 is Nasty and management does not care! If what I captured in photos is what we CAN see. Can you imagine how nasty the warehouse or storage rooms are? This store is disgusting. But let me go back... to the beginning. About six months ago, a friend and I were in this store and I couldn't help but notice how disgusting the fridges were that held the milk and ice cream. I reported it to the customer service desk. The client services desk supervisor told me then there wasn't much they could do about it because the crew that cleaned came in at night. It was an African American male and an African American female. The male seemed to be the supervisor and the female the manager. The male got on his walkie talkie to get someone to address it. I felt good that something would be done. HA! Fast forward until today, I walk in to get the new Starbucks creamers and I am met with the most disgusting fridges. Shelves. Doors. YUCK! Last time, it was just the doors that were disgusting. This time, everything in view seemed dirty and disgusting. This time, I pull out my phone and take pictures. As with the previous incident, I go back up to the front to the Client Services desk, and report what I've seen. This time I'm met with MJ. Sweet girl. She seemed astonished at what I showed her on my phone, so she calls over her supervisor, Michael, who looks like the same male "supervisor" the cashier called over the last time I was there. I show him the pics. Total stoic face. He does nothing. He encouraged me to report it to corporate. You. Read. Right. Michael just shrugged his shoulders like "Oh well!" I mentioned the coronavirus and how it's important to keep things clean and sanitary. He just "mmmhmmed" me. I shook my head and ran to Yelp. I will not be back to this nasty Target NO MO!
I look forward to every time I shop at Target. It is more than a place to check off the list of things I need. It is a shopping experience. The store is always clean, brightly lit and the displays entice you to shop. The quality of the products and the price point are great. Everyone seems to understand what their job is and does it with consistently good customer service. I don't have to look far to get help. I hope Target never drops its standards.
My husband received a gift card so I did some last minute shopping. I was very happy to find that everything that I bought online was actually in stock. I did buy online pick up in store. The items were brought out to my car in less than 5 minutes from the time I noted my arrival in the app. I was very pleased with my online shopping experience especially this close to Christmas.
This target is great for in store shopping but every single time I place a pickup order without fail they miscount an item or forget whole sets of items. This requires me to either accept a refund or go into the store and fix the issue, defeating the purpose of order pickup. Management needs to fix its order pickup issues.
Why bother reviewing a Target? Because I went recently and was that impressed by the employees at this one. One gentlemen I interrupted while stocking was incredibly helpful to me in tracking down the specific variant of a dry erase board my girlfriend tasked me with finding, then the cashier was very friendly, and the kicker was that some rude shopping service guy had blatantly blocked the path to exit the store by turning his cart diagonally for maximum disruption so he could throw a tantrum at one of the Target employees about not being able to find something and ignoring my repeated pleas of "excuse me." I was so impressed at this employee keeping his cool and directing the rude contract shopper's cart out of the way just enough for me to get by. Cheers to you, sir!
A gentleman named Far assisted me today in Electronics and gave outstanding customer service. Several people were in line ahead, so he made eye contact and quietly said he would be glad to help me find a particular Apple iPad. When my turn came, Far quickly got the item from the stock room, and was able to price match an ad I showed him from Best Buy. Please know that you have a special employee in Mr. Far, and I sincerely appreciate his professionalism and kindness!
This is the highest volume Target in the country, and it shows. It is always busy. Some days, they block off the whole aisle next to the self-checkout, which means you have to do a full loop to get to the pharmacy or grocery areas. The assist manager is one of the nicest people in the world. If there might be an NFL game that day, go before 1pm. Christmas season? Just order online for pickup. Parking is abundant, but you may not get a close spot. The new exit/entrance to Glebe road is really nice and makes for a quick exit.
I want to give a big shout out to Aliyah from Starbucks at Target who provided the best customer service with a smile. She was so professional and kind and helping the line to run swiftly. We need more employees with her positive attitude and spirit. Thank you.
Waited an easy ten minutes in line at electronics to buy a video game controller. The employee directed me to wait somewhere else instead. That lady manager? skipped me and helped someone else instead. This is insanely bad customer service for the simplest possible transaction. My mistake. I can and will buy this controller online instead. From a different retailer. I recommend y'all do the same thing for anything in the Target electronics section that requires an employee with a key to unlock.
