Thank you, Nick in electronics yesterday 10/1 at around 4pm! Nick went above and beyond to help me with a product I was having an issue with. Nick had such a fantastic attitude and a friendly demeanor. I know customer service isn't always an easy job, but people like you just have a special way of making people feel comfortable and at ease. I hope management knows what a fantastic employee you are!
My wife and I were changing our cell phone provider to Consumer Cellular and went to the Target store in Glendale, Colorado. There we had the supreme pleasure of having Nick Devietro help us get it done. He seemed to be the only person in the department and was clearly busy, but stopped doing what he was doing unpacking boxes to take care of us. He clearly had done this before and was able to get through the process with speed, accuracy and great sense of humor, while still assisting other customers, pointing out where the item they were looking for was located, answering any questions about a product ringing up their purchases and doing it in a very friendly and professional way. He clearly had taken the time to learn about the products in the electronics department and has superb customer service and interpersonal skills. If you ever find yourself in this store and need assistance with anything electronic, I hope you get the opportunity to have Nick assist you.
I just had the best experience in a frustrating situation. It's not common for you to have this. One of the helpers at the self check out named Akila I might be misspelling her name. She went above and beyond on explaining to me why a deal wasn't activating on the machine. She was patient, helpful, and informative. I just want her positive attitude and helpfulness to be recognized. I didn't know who or how to get a hold of someone over the phone. Hopefully this helps.
Missing item in the order noticed during pick up. The employees insinuated I received the item and then stole it from the bag myself. One employee asked to look inside my $120,000 car and through the bags in my car. I asked for a manager after that. The employee refused to call a manager. The employee told me to just put my card in and get a refund, the manager is too busy. Then I was told the manager was notified and would not speak to me and instructed them to just have security remove me from the store. He said I could either get a refund now or they could have security remove me, and then I could come back for a refund later. It quickly escalated after that since I insisted in talking to a manager. They spoke to me in a condensing and threatening manner insinuating I stole the missing item; I heard them say "I did that order myself". Another employee said take a refund and lower your voice or I will have security remove you. At that point I was so frustrated and angered, I cursed at him. Then he smiled and said "ohhh now you've done it" security is on the way to remove you, better put your card in getting a refund and go. They kept insisting on me placing the card in and getting a refund without allowing me to speak to a manager; and continued threatening to have security remove me. A guy in a t-shirt showed up and said he was one of the managers and without looking to my face allowed me to speak, he was unapologetic, issued a refund and left. I am sure that if I wasn't a person of color none of this would have happened. Insinuating the client is at fault when they are of color is a very old technique of intimidation based on racial profiling. Never again.
Ordered a Panasonic Arc 5 Shaver, picked up and it was an opened return product. Couldn’t understand why Target would sell customer a used personal item. Took it back and no exchange option offered, the guy at the return desk seemed really at bad mood and totally a jerk. Definitely not shopping at this store again.
Just did order pickup and the guy was throwing things so hard into my trunk that I could hear it. I haven’t gotten home yet to see if anything is broken, but I’m sick and really don’t appreciate my stuff being thrown around because someone is having a bad day. I would go in and get these items myself if it didn’t put other people at risk. Do better Target!
This target used to be great but it’s awful now. New managers are wholly indifferent to training their staff appropriately. My husband was accosted by a manager and security when he was shopping with our toddler. My toddler was fussy, and they were very aggressive asking why our baby was upset. My husband felt like they were treating him like a criminal rather than a dad with his son. Then they followed him around the entire store the rest of the trip. The next time I went the cashier was trying to get into a bag I purchased that was sealed, and when I said you don’t need to take the stuffing out she said “well I don’t know if you stuffed something in here”. The manager Sydney then said it was their policy to treat customers this way. Store manager apologized but also insinuated that security had been watching me, even though he had no idea about what I looked like or when I was shopping. This store is dangerous with their heavy handed tactics and staff should be retrained.
The Glendale Target is great for multiple reasons; 1 The check out lines are pretty fast 2 The staff are nice are helpful. They were out of my facewash once. The staff were able to locate if near and close by Target for me.
I have to say, this store continues to be a clean, easy, friendly experience. I love the customer service and the ease of returns here. I love the clothing selection, they have really stepped it up.
Bought an AirTag and guess what wasn’t sent home with me? I called and was hung up on. Called again and was met with “yeah no I don’t get paid enough” and hung up on again. They also didn’t give me my receipt. Shocker. I called and asked if anyone had found it super politely and was hung up on. The second time I said “hi I just called, not sure what happened there, but I’m calling about an AirTag” before the employee on the line was snippy and hung up again. What the hell.
