We love this shop and visit it often to buy chicken from them. Their chickens are smaller in compression to other stores which we prefer. They also carry Bangladeshi fishes and other items. We have found their quality of products excellent.

Pls read this before you go to this store. We just bought goat meat 2lb and we got charged around $75.00, when I asked the owner, she started to argue with me rather than explaining it. Extremely unprofessional, rude and argumentative staff. They sell expired and old stuff, they refuse to give receipt. Just horrible!

Should I say greed or smart? Lately my probability of getting fresh meat particularly chicken has gone to 0. The lady is good at pushing old meat. I dont know if they are required to maintain a sell by date. The way they look at you and guage if you are eligible for a good product is bad Trust and quality are the key for any business to continue to sustain not by cheap cutting corners affecting quality.

Very clean and tidy Bangladesi store where you can get some good halal meat and spices. They fo also have food catering services

I have been buying cooked food and groceries from this store ever since it opened a year or so ago. There has not been a single time when I was disappointed. The cooking quality is consistently superb, the place is clean, the cost better than reasonable, and the people super-friendly. A first-class establishment that offers mouth-watering dishes, ready to pick up exactly when promised. I am grateful I can count on 'Taste of South Asia' so near where I live! A life-saver in every sense of the word, particularly since I rarely have any time to cook.

If you want to enjoy actual Bangladeshi food, you should definitely go there. It is a small grocery shop plus you can have halim, vegetable curries, meat curries etc. You can also order beforehand. We ordered Chicken roast for a wedding party and it was delicious. I highly recommend it.

Bangladeshi grocery is rare, good to have one in South San Jose..but this place lacks inventory.. I tried their mishti doi - awesome . Hisla was good.. but if you are out there to do desi grocery will be disappointed.

Fresh goat, chicken and beef at reasonable price. And bonus point for stocking Bengali fishes line hilsa. Their chicken biryani and various kabobs to go are also very good. Glad to have some alternate choices for halal food in Evergreen.

The shop is a little small.But it gives good quality halal food.Overall, it has most of your manditory foods. I recommend as a neighborhood-friendly place to get halal meat.

Fresh and clean. The owner chef is an expert in cooking Bangali cuisine.
