I loved the food at this place. Everything seemed light and healthy and it was freshly prepared. I had the 'Grilled Salmon Feast' with roasted potatoes and Greek salad. The salmon was perfectly grilled and well seasoned. The potatoes were great, very tender. The wife had the 'Grilled Beef Feast' with roasted potatoes and Greek salad. The beef was perfectly cooked and came with a nice dipping sauce. If you like Mediterranean food or just want something a little bit different, I highly recommend this restaurant. I will definitely be eating here again soon. Vegetarian options: They do offer vegetarian options. Parking: They have a parking lot.
This place is great!!!! Had the new STEET GYRO here and it’s phenomenal. Next time you come here you need to try it.
Good choice for fast Greek food. Beef gyro and mashed potatoes hit the spot.Food: 4/5
Decent Taziki's within walking distance of UAB Hospital as well as Children's. Service was friendly and prompt. Food was pretty good, about like the other locations. "Atmosphere" was only okay, due to the outside seating overlooking the parking lot and dumpster. Parking: Parking was good for a downtown location. 15 or so spots off the street with easy access.
Good Food but limited vegetarian options.
If you've never had real Mediterranean food, you'll have a great time here.... It wasn't bad or inedible, but it did leave something to be desired. The gyro should be called a small pita wrap because there is no gyro machine. And it comes with like a handful of lays chips out of a bag and ofc a side of your choice. The hummus was oddly overly lemon seasoned not bad just not reg hummus flavor and the tzatziki was very runny. The woman who took our order was very nice tho. Parking: The parking lot is very cramped. Don't try bringing a truck here. Theres probably about 12 spots total in the lot. Some are taken up by construction supplies too
Very nice atmosphere. Convenient location to UAB. I had heard good things about this restaurant and read good reviews but this was my experience. We ordered the lamb gyro and chicken salad both with roasted potatoes, cucumber and tomato salad. A Pepsi and a water $23+. It is a walk up to the counter and order which we weren’t expecting so we had to step aside with a menu to read the extensive menu. ***if you don’t want chips with your sandwich you HAVE to purchase 2 sides. You CANNOT purchase one side. We received a chicken gyro and grilled chicken on a salad. We had actually put our finger on the item on the menu But, when we did receive the correct food it was very good. The gyro was hot, the bread was perfect texture, great blend of flavor. The chicken salad sandwich was grilled to perfection. The potatoes are very spicy. Note: it was mid afternoon and the sun coming through the windows showed that the place could use a good cleaning. Lots of dust on unused tables and smeared windows that usually wouldn’t be noticed. Also the first two silverware packets we picked up were dirty.
I love this place!! The food is so good and fresh! The prices aren't bad at all! The environment is clean and the workers are friendly!
Food was great. No complaints. Would recommend
Food is always great, staff are nice and my orders have always been prepared quickly.
