Walked over from UAB Hospital for a late lunch. Brussels sprouts appetizer was amazing. Southern Gentleman sandwich was great as were the fries. Will have to come again to get the Brussels sprouts app again.
Quirky vibe. Great food. Super kind servers. Yummy cocktails. This was truly a unique dining experience. Next time I'm in Birmingham, I'm stopping by again.

Very nice restaurant in the heart of downtown Birmingham. A great place for lunch/dinner and a drink. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. The portions are very reasonable for the price. John's is within walking distance of several clubs and the newest hotel downtown.
My son and I came to Birmingham from Canada for the Vintage Motorcycle Show at Barber. I saw the reviews online for this place and we decided to give it a go. What a treat! The chicken and waffles were amazing and the local craft beer outstanding. All this was made even more exceptional by the staff, who treated us like family!
