Tea Garden is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Kansas City! Fresh ingredients prepared daily. Reasonably priced. Nice decor. Friendly & attentive staff. Great place to eat.

Starting with 4 stars for now. I had never eaten here before, but I noticed it on Google Maps. Looked at their online menu and was a bit intrigued with the choice of items. Bacon wrapped mushroom, water chestnuts, and shrimp! WHA??? Stuffed mushrooms with pork and scallions? Ok! All I ordered was appetizers there were so many to choose from. I will have to come back for the buffet or dinner sometime soon and see if it deserves a 5 star rating. (I am thinking probably so.)

Decently priced, food was hot but flavor was off. Friendly staff ( I think), most of their conversations were in another language. Not a terrible place, but not the best place in the area.

Highly recommend for lunch! This place underscores why over extended super buffets don't work. Most importantly they offer healthy stir fry options with VEGETABLES!! Been around for years with loyal following.
