Teacher Heaven

You have to have the right mindset (or job, natch) to enjoy a visit here, but if you have either of those, you'll just love it. They have everything you've ever thought of, and quite a few you haven't, for teaching or classrooms or children's decorations or art or learning or just about any dang thing. Some of them are on the twee side for my liking but many of them are great, high quality and bright colours. They have related stuff like erasers and timers and games and you can find anything to decorate any room on any theme. They have loyalty cards to keep you coming back and you'll want to :)

I'm not a teacher so I can't say much. They do have a bunch of stuff and they do help you out. My girlfriend shopped, I slept

I visit Teacher Haven two times a year and spend hundreds of dollars. I have always found the store to be well supplied, friendly employees, and stock all priced and ready to sell. You can imagine my surprise when I found that to not be the case when I visited the store on May 25. Most of the merchandise I looked at was not priced at all. I kept having to go up to the counter and ask the employee how much the item was. Which no doubt was annoying her. I did find some small boxes of seashells that were priced at $1.99. The only thing in my cart with a price tag on it. When I went to check out with my merchandise, the seashells priced $1.99 rang up $2.49. I called that to the attention of the clerk, showing her the price tag on the box of shells. She told me that she had to leave them at the price they rang up. I also told her that was the only marked item in my cart. She said, "We are short handed and putting out merchandise and not putting tags on them." I asked to speak to the manager. After waiting 10 minutes, the manager appeared and told me the same thing. I explained to her that this was false advertising and that you could not price something at a lower price and ring it up at a higher price. She assured me that this is how the store does it and they were "doing fine" with this practice. I left with all the merchandise in my cart (well over $100.00) and will not shop at a store that false advertises. The store manager was rude and the store is a total mess. With a manager like that, it is no wonder it is "short staffed"

Lovely place. Has lots of activities and posters. They even laminate for 80 cents a yard! I didn't like that they charge but don't cut out the posters. The prices are a little high which is typical for places like this.
