Very impressed, very happy with service, got me in,fixed, and going again much quicker than expected, polite, professional employees, was treated like a valued customer and it was my first time there,was kept informed and updated through entire repair. In fact when the young lady told me I was ready to go I didn't believe they had done all repairs, but they got it done, runs good, very happy. 2019 vnl 860, emissions faults, would definitely recommend, and would definitely return for service
This review is for the parts department as they are the only part I deal with. Compared to the other dealerships I've had to do business with; TEC is far better in both time efficiency and parts accuracy. Every time I go to Papé for Kenworth for parts it is a giant pain in my a** but when I go to TEC for Volvo parts they always sell me exactly what I want. They have a really good selection of parts on hand. They usually have people on staff that speak Russian, Ukrainian, and Spanish. These guys want to do business and get you out quickly. Just show up with you VIN in hand and a clear description of what you want, TEC probably has it.
I'm rescinding my 5 star review as time has revealed the true colors of the people behind this dealership. our driver had an unfortunate incident here and no one has apologized to us for the mishap. yea we'll go somewhere else, definitely not a problem !
parts and service department very unprofessional attitude, oriented to finances instead of customer satisfaction, I hope they will hire people who speak professionally with customers. I don't recommended this location and would not go back again.
I left my Volvo truck, with bunch of def, check engine, abs, tsc problems and the main problem was that my truck bended a lot to both sides. When I askex for appointment thay said there is no appointment first come first serve. I was hoping 2 days but stayed 1 week in parking without stating the repair. And they did not turned off the battery and it was dead. After a week they fixed all except its inbalance problem, which cost me 10500$ , I moved to their collision center and asked to fix that , then they changed leaf springs for about 2700$ but still it did not help. I don't blame collision center maybe service department also worked good. Although it is still annoying to leave in bending truck after spending more than 13200$, losing a week and killing battery. I thought they are professionals who could fix any Volvo problems as they are dealership and went there.

I can't give any more stars as I walked in to pick up a part and stood there for over 7 minutes with nobody acknowledging my presence so I left. Even a "Hello, be right with you" would go miles. I saw they were busy and understand completely. But avoiding eye contact and ignoring will never get my money. Use this for what you will.
This is the first negative review we have ever written, and it has been fully earned. Read the summary below to discover why we have no trust in TEC Portland or their Collision Center Estimator, Thang Vo. With a combination of incompetence, disorganization, a lack of integrity and disrespectful customer service it is a wonder they even remain in business. Our insurance agent referred us to TEC Portland to perform collision repairs on our company vehicle and we had Thang inspect it for an estimate to submit to our insurance. Upon reviewing his estimate, we discovered that Thang had failed to include 50% of the damage even though he had made note of all the points during his inspection. This was brought to his attention several times to resolve prior to the repair session, but his three-month delayed response communication was so poor that we were never sure that he even acknowledged this oversight. We eventually coordinated a repair window for the vehicle to be completed within a 10-day period. When we were scheduled to collect the vehicle, we discovered that most of the work was incomplete and there was no planned schedule when TEC Portland intended to get it completed. Eventually, Thang informed us that he had not ordered any of the remaining repair parts to complete the repairs. Because this is our company’s primary work vehicle, we had to collect the vehicle in an unfinished condition note: upon checking in at the office, we were allowed to walk through the shop without escort or without any security check; the keys were in the vehicle and no member of the TEC Portland staff showed any level of concern about us just getting in a vehicle and driving off. A second scheduled repair window was set and less than a week before we were to have the vehicle repaired, we discovered that Thang had not yet submitted the supplemental repair estimate for the work to be performed to the insurance or had ordered the parts. He assured us that he would have the parts and would complete the work, so we choose to keep the repair window open for TEC Portland to collect the vehicle for repairs while our operation was shut down for a staff retreat. Upon our return, we discovered that the vehicle had not even been collected. Eventually, we received an email from Thang stating that it was too late in the day to collect the vehicle this was 10 days AFTER it was supposed to be collected. At this point we have fired TEC Portland & Thang Vo from performing any work on our vehicle due to their lack of communication, lack of integrity, lack of organization and lack of competence. There has never been an apology or any effort to resolve the matter in a professional manner. We strongly recommend that you seek other options than TEC Portland & Thang Vo for any work on your vehicles.
