Tim is amazing!!! I called after going to a different salon earlier in the day and not getting what I asked for balayage—the other salon did the first picture. Tim told me to come in to techni and completely fixed my hair and did an actual balayage! Great atmosphere and very knowledgeable stylist. Very reasonably priced as well! I am so pleased I found Techni Salon by a simple google search. The place is cozy, clean, and welcoming. Tim is a great hairstylist. He listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly, along with making other helpful suggestions that brought my hair to the next level. He is very skilled and I loved the way my hair turned out. Definitely will be going back for future haircuts!

Today I visited techni salon for the first time. JUNO is a true hair artist! I always have anxiety around getting my haircut since i have very long and thick hair naturally. Juno was extremely accommodating and we spent a while going over what style I wanted to achieve thru pictures and dialog. Throughout the cut Juno checked in with me and had great ideas all the while, which put me at ease and I felt confident I was in skillful hands. My cut and blowout is beautifully sophisticated and my ends are feathered to perfection! Thank you Juno for capturing my hair cut vision can't wait to come back for color! Ps all the stylists in this salon are A+, as I was in the salon for a while and watched many customers leave with fabulous hair. If you are looking for a new salon go to Techni Salon! Can’t believe I never wrote a google review. Like the original 13th street salon, it’s cozy and minimalist, always immaculate. The pre-wash is always surprisingly relaxing and they’re so accommodating. Jason has been cutting my hair for at least 4 years now, despite me having moved between 3 different boroughs. That’s how awesome these guys are! Attached are several photos of haircuts ranging from the day of to a week after. My hair is really thick and wavy, but I always leave with something much easier to work with for months after the fact and I get plenty of compliments.

If you care about your hair, come here! Techni is the balance of tasteful hair design and warm customer service. As a guy, it's refreshing to find a place where I can count on being taken care of for a reasonable price. Techni salon is great! Juno has been doing my highlights and haircuts for years now, and I gladly followed him to this new location. The prices are great almost too low for Manhattan!. I was always very happy with the results. I always recommend Techni Salon to all my friends and co-workers - they often enquire where I get my hair done, and when I tell them how much I pay, they're sold! I'll be coming here for as long as I'll live in New York! :

Juno is my go to person when I getting my hair cut in NYC. I always struggle between what I want and what I need. Juno finds really good balance and give the best advice every time!

Went because of the 4.9 star review. Not sure where that came from maybe color? Got a cut from one of the top reviewed stylists. Pros: cheap for NYC. Like half the price or less. Cons: Uneven, jagged lines after wash. Hair looks like a lopsided picket fence after I straightened it out. If you have long wavy/curly hair, probably won’t show. Very noticeable on short/straight styles.

Friendly, professional service! I recommend coming here for a reasonably priced blowout. Kenny did a great job.
