Story

Ted’s Foreign Auto Repair is a family owned business that has provided quality automotive repairs for 40 years. With extensive experiences servicing cars, SUV's and trucks -- specializing in Toyota, Lexus, Scion, Subaru, Honda, Acura, Nissan, Infinity, Mazda, Hyundai, and Kia.

Our experts communicate openly with our customers and we believe in providing superior service with honesty and trust. Through experience and hard work, we want you to have the quality of service you deserve in a timely manner.

Ted has been a mechanic for over 40 years and have extensive experience working on all types of vehicles. For 19 years he worked at a Toyota dealership in Council Bluffs, Iowa before opening the first Ted’s Foreign Auto Repair there in 1991. Business was booming, but the mountains were calling. After 9 years running Ted’s Foreign, wife Kay and Ted decided to pack up and move west. We settled in Fort Collins where he continued to work as a mechanic at small, independent repair shops. In the last few years, they re-opened the shop in Lakewood inspired us to bring Ted’s Foreign Auto Repair back to life. We believe in honest service, fair prices, and top-quality work. There is nothing better than running a business with the family, providing a service that we love for our customers.
