Tee Pee Mexican Food

Went there for Sunday dinner. First time there. Waited 15 minutes for table for 2 (not bad). 5 minutes for chips. 10 minutes later still not even greeted by a server. Place was busy, but not that busy. Left. From a service stand point, horrible. Couldn't tell you about the food. Never got that far.

I had to try this place out due to a review I saw on YouTube. For lunch time it was busy and had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. The venue has a dated style with small booth tables. The menu has a good selection of New Mexican style entrees at fair prices. For a busy place I got my meal without having to wait too long. I had a choose 3 items (shredded beef taco, tamale, & chicken enchalada) combination with rice and beans. My meal was average in taste with good portions. Overall the food & service were good. It was worth a try and I might come again.

I was very hungry, the meal came quickly, after a few bites I noticed that the taste was...off. Like the fresh ingredients had been stored in an open refrigerator and all ingredients combined. I won't return for another meal.

They've been serving awesome food for over 60 years. They don't skimp on anything. Great staff and owners.

Normally I give them four stars but tonight they were a little off their game. The food was delicious as always, however tonight’s service is why I’m only giving three stars. The night started with not the most clean table and a dirty fork. My biggest complaint was with our waiter. When he brought my drink he referred to me as “guy”, and when he brought my meal referred to me as “buddy”. I am neither your guy or your buddy, I am your customer, and prefer to be addressed as “sir”. He did do right by informing me that the plate was hot, real hot. Finally it took forever for him to bring us our check. Although they were not on their “A” game tonight, I will definitely go back as I do like the restaurant.
