Tried the trio taco corn tortilla beef, chickrn and pork and burrito. Tasty tacos and huve burrito will lots of filling.Food: 4/5
We got the smoky chicken taco. The chicken is very flavorless and it contains incrediblily amount of liquid. I took my food back, and the guy told me i have to the eat their food fast or it goes bad. I literally just grabbed and tried it immediately. So yeah i am not happy with what i got.
The food here was delicious. I had the Taco Trio which is three tacos of your choice. I chose one of each of the following. ELDIABLO-Pork belly topped w/ pickled onions, cilantro-lime verde sauce, queso fresco & cilantro. SMOKY POLLO-Shredded chicken thighs topped w/ verde sauce, plantain sauce, cabbage salad, queso fresco & cilantro. PABELLÓN-Beef brisket topped w/ black beans, verde sauce, plantain sauce, smoked gouda & cilantro. The employees were very friendly, since it was my first time I had a few questions, they were very helpful and engaged.
Had the taco trio and they were a delicious flavor. Way to wet to eat it like a normal taco, could’ve used two corn tortillas to be able to pick it up. Had to eat it with a fork. My review is cause of the customer service, it was horrible. Took my order, cashed me out, gave me my food without a word or even looking at me. After every step he would turn around and talk with the cook. Acted like I was interrupting them. Even the table next to me remarked on the rudeness. I liked the food, but won’t be back cause of the customer service.
Wow. Those were some of the worst tacos I've ever had. Let me rephrase, the flavor was great, but who in the world wants taco soup? They were so soggy that I was struggling to eat them even with a fork. I ended up not even finishing them because it was so much work to get them out of the liquid they were bathing in. To agree with a previous review, the guy at the counter was rude, and told me they were supposed to be that wet, and 'you have to eat them fast'. Thats not really the point though, I shouldnt have to scarf them down for them to be edible. Besides, I tried within 30 seconds after grabbing them and they were already ruined. Overall a bad experience. Dont eat here unless you want soggy inedible food.
Really, really delicious meat in the tacos. Unfortunately, they were served with too much sauce and I had to eat them with a fork. The guy at the register didn't say hello, didn't tell me my total, didn't say thank you after I paid, didn't hand me my buzzer just slid it slightly near me with no eye contact or you're welcome after I thanked him for my food. It was quite the letdown.
Ate lunch for the first time at Teote Outpost today. Had the trio tacos and my favorite was the Pabellon brisket. That said, these are NOT arepas. I lived in Venezuela when I was a kid and fell in love with the fried corn cakes. Teote is using basic corn tortillas. Update: Apparently I missed the arepa option on the menu, doh! I’ll be heading back to give them a try...
Got the Taco Trio; taco’s were overstuffed which normally wouldn’t be a bad thing definitely got plenty of meat for the price but overall it was more mess than it was worth... Meat was horribly over seasoned & oversalted; meat was so wet it made the taco’s useless... Definitely not worth trying a secon time
El Diablo burrito was freaking amazing. It had a little bit of kick in hotness. The price point is very reasonable.
the el diablo burrito is NOT hot, but it is sweet and juicy and amazing
