Tequila's Authentic Mexican

Been here many times. Food is always great (try the pork!!) and the servers are friendly and accommodating (albeit a bit slow during off hours). Prices are reasonable except for their drinks, but I don't drink alcohol much so it's not an issue for me. Would definitely recommend to anyone craving great Mexican food. Best in CT, and I've been around!

We arrived and there was a bit of a wait because they were busy. A good sign when you get to a restaurant that you're attending for the first time. The staff was friendly and we received our chips and salsa quickly. Then we waited for about 15 minutes for them to come over and get our drink order and the whole time my girlfriend spent coughing because she had something in her throat. We then waited another 15 minutes to even get our drinks(that my girlfriend had to RE-ask them for). We ordered our food at the same time as our drinks(thank god) and less than a minute after they walked away from taking our order I asked him to make "1" small change I wad told "sorry I just put it in the computer and it couldn't't be done. I will not be attending this restaurant again. I'm not a stuck up person but these are things that a restaurant should do normally. I'm not impressed.

Large portions for reasonable prices. Super friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant is great for groups and young children. New go to spot.

After waiting 2 hours, our first time at tequilas, we left without eating!. We had just received our place settings after 2 hrs! Now my family is starving and we are going home at 810. I asked for a mgr, no one showed up or seemed to care. If you cannot handle the volume don’t seat us. This was just horrific service/way to be treated. One of the worst dining experiences we’ve had.

Clean restaurant with plenty of parking. Great food and drinks that are moderately priced. Try their quesadillas!
