I have never met more generous, deep humans. The training was everything I'd hoped it'd be and managed to be everything I had dreamed a conservatory could be. No one gets lost in the shuffle. Everyone is seen, pushed, celebrated, PUSHED, and asked to give more than the day before. I have felt tremendous growth as an artist and witnessed it in each of my classmates. My capacity to trust myself, my gifts, my experiences, and my perspective has quintupled. I feel like I've been given the tools and awareness to pave towards the career I've always wanted. Terry is the real deal, his staff and faculty are the real deal, and you can't help but get it on you being in this brilliant community. This place and these people hold a large room in my heart and I am so proud to be a graduate. When I asked my manager if I should take two years off to do this training he said I'd be a fool to turn down the opportunity to work with Terry, if you are considering training here I pass that same sentiment on to you.

Training with Terry changed my life in the best way possible - not an exaggeration! I did my foundational acting training in his 2-year program, and I've returned for scene study classes since then. I am ever grateful for such solid training that ingrained in me a high standard to work towards. Terry's wisdom stays in mind as a guide as I continue to work and grow as an actor. He has nothing but the utmost respect for acting, and will truly push you to be the best actor you can possibly be. Terry and the studio staff are truly the best!

I completed the 2 year program this past June, after doing the intensive before that as well. I can confidently say that this was the best and most meaningful training I've ever had as an actor. The teachers are kind, thoughtful, and challenge you in the best way to become the best actor *you* can be. This isn't a cookie cutter experience; Terry and his faculty take your individuality into account and celebrate it and then invite you to celebrate it too. Working with Terry challenged me in the best way, inviting me to take big risks, to fail big in a safe and welcoming environment, to stretch, and to learn as much as possible. He'd always have amazing ideas and suggestions to invite you into a collaboration and to help you see your work in a new way. I am a totally different actor than I was at the start of my journey here and I'm so grateful for this experience. Study here! Terry and the faculty absolutely love what they do, love the work, love the craft itself. That level of deep artistic love and play is such a gift. I know I'll continue to return to this studio as I now consider it an artistic home base to continue to grow my artistry.

I have been training in acting for over ten years and of all the training I’ve received, Terry Knickerbocker Studio has been the most effective in preparing me to be a professional actor. The environment is unlike any other. Terry invites you to strive for excellence, in a way that is equally challenging as it is warm and supportive. All of the teachers and staff are highly skilled and dedicated to learning. The classes offered have been chosen by Terry with the outmost thoughtfulness to better serve you as an actor. I recommend the Two Year Professional Acting Conservatory. It will give you all of the tools you need to be an actor. If you are hungry to become an actor and dedicated to training, I could not recommend this studio more.

Awesome place to learn acting! My daughter went for an intensive Summer High School Acting Program and she loved it! She didn't mind commuting from Long Island to the studio everyday. She loves the staff and the teachers. I'm glad to see how happy she is learning new stuff from GREAT teachers. It was really a worthwhile experience for her! I'm thankful that Terry Knickerbocker started this Summer High School Acting Program to help those young, aspiring actors a chance to train even if they're still in High School. More power to you!

My experience at the Terry Knickerbocker Studio was nothing short of life changing. I feel truly blessed, and honored that I was selected to attend, and complete the 2 year conservatory program. The Terry Knickerbocker Studio provided me with a wonderfully warm, and generous artistic home when I wasn't sure I would ever be able to find one. They made me feel welcomed from the first moment when I reached out in 2019, to attended their Fall Meisner Intensive, till the day I graduated the 2 year program in 2022. I learned so much about acting during my time at the studio but I also learned so much more about myself and the kind of artist I wanted to be. Terry, along with the other incredible faculty members, really care about the collective as well as the individual. They take time to provide individual feedback and also create space for people to share a thought, a discovery, or a question. They continually, and gently invite you to give a little more, dig a little deeper, reveal a little more, encouraging you to find the deeper meaning within relationships and circumstances. The work you do here is an ongoing conversation of artistry that Terry and the other faculty members help facilitate while guiding you through the journey that is the training. The training was everything I hoped it would be, and everything I wanted for myself. I wanted to be a part of a high quality, rigorous training program surrounded by others who we're committed and focused as well; I found that at the Terry Knickerbocker Studio, while also finding an artist home and friends that will last me a lifetime.

My child was incredibly fortunate to be part of the first high school program at Terry Knickerbocker Studio. She grew both as an artist and as a person in the few short days. She had the opportunity to meet students from all over the NY area and even international students. Everyone at Terry Knickerbocker was incredibly kind and supportive and knew her personally.

When you study at Terry Knickerbocker studio - growth is inevitable. Training with Terry is the best decision I have ever made for my art, my career, and my life. I leave every class feeling inspired and motivated. The work Terry pulls out of each of his students is breathtaking. In all my years training I have never worked with someone who is as compassionate and dedicated as Terry. I attribute all of my career success to his masterful teaching and generous guidance I am deeply grateful to have had the opportunity to study at Terry Knickerbocker Studio and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to be the best actor they can be. I took a four day intensive with Terry at Drama Inc in Atlanta. It was one of the most artistically satisfying things I have done training wise and I learned a lot. Not only did we work on very individualized specific skills, I got to realistically reevaluate where I stand as an artist and an actor and what I was willing to do to pursue this crazy beautiful dream. It's intense, it's personal, it's revealing, and extremely useful especially if you're ready for it. I am right now trying to work out all the obstacles standing in my way to continue training with Terry. So safe to say 10/10 would recommend.

My experience at TK Studio is hard to put into as few words as this box will hold, but I will try. Life Changing, extremely challenging, eye opening, loving, and WORTH IT. TK studio has given me a set of skills and tools that I find myself using in my work and auditions that I never had before, and quite often, without even thinking about it. I feel more confident, booking more, and getting the best feedback I’ve ever had since I graduated from TK. Terry has also shown me just high how the ceiling can go in terms of your acting abilities. What you learn is that your pursuit of acting excellence doesn’t end when you graduate, it is a belief and work ethic instilled in you, that you will cary for the rest of your career. There are many more benefits to studying at the studio, but honestly just do yourself and your career a favour and sign up, dive in, and find out for yourself. You will be forever changed, in the best way.
