Thai Table Restaurant

I have been a long-time customer of Thai Table. We frequently order take-out and have even held birthday dinners at the restaurant. The food is generally good - I've particularly enjoyed their tofu dishes. My daughter requested that we eat dinner at Thai Table tonight. It was raining and we liked the idea of a cozy seat next to the window. When we arrived, the dining room was only half full - there were 4 open tables, as well as an additional dining room that was completely empty. After noting the number of open tables, I asked the owner/host, if it would be possible for us to sit at a table next to the window. He immediately replied by saying that he likes to "save that table for groups of four." He then proceeded to offer us our choice of a *different* four-person table or a two-person table. I found this strategy completely baffling. As a reasonable patron, I could totally understand if there was a full house, or if there were only two tables available: a 4-top and a 2-top. In that case, seating us at the 2-top would make perfect sense. In tonight's dining room, however, there was already another 2-person group sitting at one of the 4-tops by the window. This was additionally confusing, since it seemed to violate the owner's stated policy of only seating groups of four at these tables. It's rare to experience this level of pettiness and needless complication with a dining establishment this small. This evening's unfriendly interaction left a keen impression of negativity. We won't be going back. If you're planning to dine with Thai Table: I recommend trying the take-out option.

I've always loved Thai food through my life so finding a good place to eat nearby when I moved to Golden Valley was essential. Luckily I met the owner of this amazing little restaurant and have been able to watch it blossom. The food is fantastic, the staff knows us and our orders and you can't go wrong at this place. I would recommend Thai Table to everyone and anyone.

It's a small cozy restaurant. The food was good, but not as spicy as I expected. More like typical Chinese food than what I expect at a Thai restaurant. It could be the dishes we ordered. We had the sesame chicken and the chicken pad puk. The prices are reasonable. There is ample parking in the lot.

A delicious choice for Thai food. I like the Chicken Laab because of its distinct flavor which is nice and spicy. The service is good and served with a smile.

Very decent Thai place with general Thai menu. The food is quite tasty. The place is in the shopping area, very convenient location. Didn't quite like the chairs though. I would visit this place again. The servers are very friendly, welcoming and efficient.
