That Dapper Pet

I won't take my pooch anywhere else. Amy is the BEST! My dog has never liked being groomed at all, and gets snappy with people, but not at That Dapper Pet. They've always been helpful and very friendly. I always recommend them to everyone I know. Also, I drive all the way over from Washington just for the quality of service I always get there.

Great service! They texted notifications for my dog's nail trim appointments. They were very friendly and recommended local business in the area for while I waited. The trim and file was the best we've had yet for our pups!

One of the greatest things about this pet shop, is that it has an amazing staff that treats your pets like gold, but has healthy food and accessories you can buy all at once while you’re inside the shop. You also see great advertising. Events on Facebook, you can find them easily on search engines now, and a great website. Heard they even have a virtual tour coming! This is the pet shop to go to in Bloomington hands down.

I have been to That Dapper Pet at least 4 times, giving them repeated chances. The staff is rude, unprofessional, and unapologetic for their behavior. Do not go there. On two occasions when dropping of my maltese, they have been in the backroom throwing "F-bombs" while I waited in the lobby to drop my dog off. On another occasion, when asked when I could pick up my dog, they stated "we close at 2 that is when you can get her." I repeat DO NO GO THERE. There are other businesses with professionalism that could service all of our dogs. Besides, if she/they are this rude with people, how are they with your dog when you are not around.

This place did wonderfully with my cat. It's one of two places in Bloomington-Normal that will groom felines. I took my cat there for a toe nail trim and they had it done in 10 minutes. They also did such a great job of actually getting the nail short enough without clipping into the quick. Also very friendly staff and the owner is very kind! This place also sells pet clothing as well as treats, leashes and collars.
