I had an exceptional experience at That's Amore Italian Restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring all my requests were promptly addressed. The dining area was impeccably clean, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Most importantly, the food was delicious, leaving me eager to return and explore more of their Italian entrees. I highly recommend this restaurant! God bless all of you at That's Amore!
I’ve heard about this place and wanted to give it a try. We went on a Sunday afternoon and got seated immediately. We sat in the back right across from the area where the staff congregated while gathering the food to serve the guests. I also noticed another group of African Americans sitting in the same area but they were a “cornered area”. It was pretty strange as all the their other customers were in the front of the restaurant. FYI - There were plenty of empty tables in the front of the restaurant. Oh well. . . Pretty sad but very noticeable! I’m hoping this was just a coincidence. Anyways - we were waited on by a young lady who did a decent job. We had the spaghetti, seafood Amore and the Sicilian steak with a veggie mix. Unfortunately, the steak and vegetables lacked flavor. I was shocked that the steak was pretty tough to eat due to it being pretty dry. I swear it was like eating a mound of ashes. If I coughed or sneezed, dust would’ve metaphorically came out of my throat. Please know - the seafood Amore, salad, calamari and breadsticks were amazing. Keep up the good work with the food; but please don't coincidentally put all the African Americans in the back. Not a good look for your place of business if you are looking for a diverse customer base that has a lot of green money.
Waitress was awesome. Food was amazing, and I was really pumped they had this ravioli with mushroom sauce! Due to a tomato allergy, I rarely get to enjoy Italian food, and thankfully this mushroom sauce was amazing. The place was pretty busy for a Wednesday and I get why!Food: 5/5
The atmosphere was great and the service and food were good. TheSeafood Amore did not have much seafood, maybe 4 shrimp and the crab and scallops were very small. It was ok. I would purchase it again to see if it is consistent.
We absolutely loved this place, the atmosphere was great.. we loved the bar area. The ambiance is amazing.. totally recommend sitting down by bar if there is available seating and you have 4 or less in your group. Definitely coming back to try other menu items..Food: 5/5
We hired That’s Amore to cater for our wedding and we 100% recommend. Our point of contact, Justin, was exceptional to work with. He was quick to respond to any question, very accommodating with requests we had, and personally was part of the team serving the buffet on our wedding day. But most importantly, the food was fantastic! We loved it after our tasting and knew instantly that’s who we wanted to go with. And it did not disappoint on our wedding day. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on the delicious food and asking who we catered with. My husband and I cannot rave enough about our experience with That’s Amore.
First off, they did accommodate our group when 3 extra people show up making us a group of 9. I appreciated and did thank them several times. Now, to the experience. The food was maybe warm, one person sent his back and was satisfied once the meal was warmed. Most agreed, the food was mediocre at best. I didn't even take my leftovers. Carbonara was dry, not creamy, tasteless. But the waitress was another big issue, she was very short with us, not even close to friendly, almost to the point of rude. Never asked how the meals were, left us unattended for what seemed like long periods of time. I always tip 20% +, never less...until tonight. It will be awhile before I try them again, if at all. Very disappointed
That's Amore is a Staple to the Hales Corners/Greenfield area. Definitely one of the best Italian Restaurants around and have great prices so you won't have to mortgage the house to take your family out to dinner! They also are great at hosting events so have your next bday or anniversary celebration here!Food: 5/5
This place is fantastic. Currently my favorite Italian restaurant in the Milwaukee area. The entire restaurant, including the name, is rat pack themed. Pictures of Frank Sinatra o, Dean Martin , Sammy Davis Jr,, Peter Lawford, and Joey Bishop adorn the walls. There's also several pictures of family members form the old country framed near the waiting area. A lovely touch. The Caesar salad is a bit heavy on the sauce and light on the Parmesan. I wish they would throw some croutons on there as well. Come aaaaaawwwwwn 5.0/10 The breadsticks 8.4/10 Red sauce 9.0/10 Mixed veg. What am I? On a hospital diet? Throw a little salt on the steamed veggies 3.4/10 Italian sausage sandwich 8.9/10 Very good with the peppers. It went well with some extra red sauce. I would make a trip back just to have this sandwich again. Baked zitti 8.7/10 Anthony Jr would be excited. Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible through the front door
Oh my goodness! Had a delicious dinner here after a small wedding. We had 3 dinner options to choose from and the Seafood Amore was outstanding!! Soooo yummy. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. In particular, Tiffany was very helpful. We appreciated her service! The complimentary appetizers for all the guests and then the complimentary desserts for the bride and groom were a great touch. The cocktails we ordered were also delicious.
