The staff was welcoming and was attentive to my needs. The payment system is flexible and you can use cash although using your card is more convenient. I underestimated the gin cocktail I ordered sure to the size of the small glass but on tasting it I found that it was not only delicious but also quite potent! I wondered why they gave me a big jug of water on the side and this made absolute sense after my second sip. I enjoyed the live jazz music and chose to sit outside. You can sit inside but at a fee of $10 extra and this goes to support the live band. I will sit inside next time I go and I will bring a couple of friends with me so we can enjoy this jazzy gem. Wonderful little jazz venue, we had a great time! Ordering food through their QR code was such a quick and easy method. We got the fries, hot coppa pizza, and an aperol spritz. It was great, definitely recommend supporting this independently-owned venue! And the atmosphere was overall very nice.

The 1905 is a pretty special place. It’s located on a side street just off the main drag of Mississippi Ave, so it feels like a little secret tucked away. They have multiple live jazz sets nearby every night, great drinks and delicious food. They even have potatoes as a pizza topping as well as vegan cheese. Beautiful patio and ambience. There is typically a $10 cover to sit inside close to the band, but there are plenty of tables outside too where you can enjoy the music with no cover. Great date night or simply a place to enjoy a drink and some music with a friend or yourself. Thank you 1905!!

Great venue with not a bad seat in the house. You do have to have a phone and the ability use there app to get any food or drinks…or refills. We did have a great time and the food was good. We had the pasta and some appetizers. The portions are shareable.

I stopped by Sunday from 4 to 6. The sound of a trumpet blaring could be heard from blocks away. Every Sunday features an open mic jazz night. Imagine musicians from every corner of Portland coming together to listen to one another, to showcase one another, and to give each a chance to shine. Students in high school and students of life shared their favorite pieces and crafted solos along side a cold draft beer and French fries that were doused in rosemary and truffle.

What a hidden treasure! Each time I visit this charming establishment I come away with a smile on my face. The talent on any given night is incredible, the food and libations delightful and the staff are always ready to please. I can’t wait to visit again……

I’d let your pizza put me to bed any night Even the gluten free has me wondering how I will ever even think of another pizzeria again. Classic Portland venue with great food, music, and service. Need to buy tickets to listen to performers inside, but there is also patio seating outside where you still get to hear the performers playing inside. Must visit if you are a fan of Jazz.

It is a great place to enjoy live jazz music. Snacks and drinks are also nice.
