The Alaska Walking Store

My visit here was on a Wednesday. I really enjoyed the customer service provided at the northern lights store. The gentleman was very knowledgeable about the shoes and my reason for being there. I provided an occupational scenario and dress attire for him, which he kindly and immediately provided options for me. I also rarely buy shoes specifically for an office position, which he really understood. I definitely, will be returning here, and recommending my peers this convenient location.

Great store. They only carry quality shoes and they are expensive. But they have great customer service that can't be found at a chain/online. They really want you to be happy with your purchase and it shows. Will be a customer for life.

Although I've purchased three pairs of shoes here in the past, I will NEVER set foot in this store again considering the rude, bordering on abusive behavior I encountered there last week. Prior to my mother entering the store, we were eating lunch in the vehicle which was clearly against the posted parking lot notices. The parking lot was nearly empty, however. The second time we were approached by the owner/salesperson, we were berated for still being in the car. I apologize. My uncle in the front seat has leukemia and doesn't hop to it as quickly as he once did. Needless to say, we elected to shop for shoes elsewhere. What shockingly rude behavior for a local business that should depend on customer service.

Great customer service and a wide variety of shoes found nowhere else.

The doors were unlocked 10 minutes before noon time. I went inside & I was told they're not open yet. They could have had a better attitude.

I had a very positive experience here. The salesperson wa knowledgeable, tomorrow knobs time with me,but wasn't high pressure. I'll definitely return.
