From booking the appointment to walking slightly limping out the door a great experience. The the receptionist was friendly and helpful. There were several people in the clean and comfortable waiting area but the wait was minimal. Radiology and the radiologist were professional and kind also very quick. As for Dr. Shipper and the tech they were great, very good patient interaction and positive experience. I would highly recommend them if you are in need of and orthopedic group.
Dr. Albrigo was wonderful. Listened well & was balanced in the recommendations he gave me—not overstating his confidence in his answers to some of my questions & even calling a radiologist to confirm he was following the latest science around which type of test to order. I admire a doctor with humility like this—makes me trust him more. Unfortunately, I did wait an hour past my appointment time. It would be great to set expectations at check-in if the wait time is going to be longer than 15 minutes.
Everyone was pleasant from the time I walked into the clinic. Dr. Ngada is one of the most humble and knowledgeable surgeons I have ever met and as a nurse and patient I have met a few. I have held off from having my surgery done because I just was not 100% comfortable with the other surgeons I had met but I feel very comfortable letting Dr. Ngada perform my surgery. I believe I am in good hands.
Really good experience with this office. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Easy check-in process with no hassle. Didn't wait long. I liked my doc Dr. Narvaez. He was very personable and easy going and I like his bedside manner. He listened and explained things without being condescending or dismissive of concerns or questions. I particularly appreciated it because it seems some younger docs can sometimes talk to us Gen X'ers like we're already senile or something and couldn't possibly understand modern technology or medical terms. Or they go the other way and you become invisible and they chalk all your problems up to the inevitability of age. Anyway, I'd put off going because I didn't expect much to come of it beyond some PT which may work, but the cortisone shot to the knee was helpful. I'd kind of hoped they'd do more than just X-rays on the knees since I felt like there was some hip and soft tissue involvement beyond my normal IT band issues and osteoarthritis in the knees which I'm very familiar with over the years and have an arsenal of stretches and exercises that I know how to do. Sometimes the most obvious explanation is the most likely but wondered if my bringing up the IT band sort of eclipsed them considering other factors. But he was convincing enough for me to revisit PT first to see if it helps. Glad he offered a cortisone shot though because at least I can get over the hump enough and get some sleep and ease the pain enough to do the PT and be more mobile. Fingers crossed.
Impossible to get in touch with anyone. You have to wait to be called back just to get a receptionist so you can leave a message for your doctors team. They couldn't diagnose that I had a bulged disc but thats because they never looked at my MRI, they just read the radiology report which was wrong. Asked them to refill my script, they said sure thing, and then proceeded to never call it in. Doc appointments are like 5 minutes. These guys have more patients than they can handle so look elsewhere.
I thoroughly enjoyed working with Dr. Nigel Azer and his team. Everyone in the clinic, from the check-in team to the X-Ray techs has been wonderful. Dr. Azer and Casey Baumgarden are the best! That is why I will be having my next procedure with the Anderson Clinic early next year.
Called the front desk 4 times to get on call with front desk representative to have an appointment scheduled for my husband; the receptionist spoke and put me on hold for 20 minutes. Extremely rude, careless and pathetic staff - may be the clinic management should consider replacing appointments via calls with letting people schedule them online by building a good online portal; will be a good investment for the clinic instead of relying on such inefficient and ineffective staff. The doctors may be good but they are losing on patients due to the horrible front desk staff! I wish I could give this place 0 star!
Buyer Beware: I have good insurance through GMU and these guys charge criminal rates. Example: I needed an ortho boot. It turns out you can buy this boot on Amazon for $92 bucks. These guys billed my insurance for over $800 dollars! My health care company and I, after adjustments, were charged $360 for this boot. Outrageous. If you have deductibles left they're going to rip you off. Hey Anderson I see you like to give some lame generic response to these kinds of posts. How about you not rip off the general public?
Dr. Narvaez charged me for services not rendered. I have called multiple times, get the run-around, and am either hung up on or told to leave a message which is never returned. $1500 for services I had already paid for at another health clinic. 20 minutes, if that, of actual interaction. SCAM
Dr. Gandhi is amazing. I arrived early because I was unsure of the location and the staff had me in a room and seeing the Dr. Gandhi within 10 minutes of walking in the door. Amazing service!
