If i could give 0 or negative stars I would. My wife had been screwed over by the scheduling department for 3 semesters now. On her first semester, they set her up for associates instead of bachelor's. Second semester, the scheduling program pretty much screwed everyone from what I heard from her and mixed up everyone's timelines so she was going to school at times not originally planned. And now my wife just got told that she couldn't take one of her classes this semester because of the fact that its for a different major. Who's fault was it entirely? SCHEDULING MANAGEMENT! Now they told her it would be best to just drop all her classes for the semester because they're not able to take her in for another class at this moment EVEN THOUGH IT IS ENTIRELY THEIR FAULT and she doesnt have enough classes to stay as a student. She uses her GI Bill for this school so now we are lost on what is going to happen with that for this semester. Granted there are only 4 weeks left. I've been frustrated with this school from the start and even a friend that went to Art Institute recommended me to not let my wife go to this school. If I was at her place and the scheduling department already messed up twice, bet I'm just taking my hard earned GI Bill somewhere. DO NOT GO TO THIS INSTITUTION!

So before I get into the reasons behind the rating just know if you go here for Culinary you will owe more than 100k and end up at the same dead end job I have. I applied and got a job in Temecula after dropping this program and ended up working with a guy from my class who finished. It was funny when he showed up on his first day of work with his A.I. bag and knife kit to make the same 12.00 I was getting without being in debt 100k. But the actual 1 star is from this school being a scam. I was promised that my G.I. Bill would cover it along with the 2 other programs I qualified for, so I started school and quickly came to dislike the place. Mainly because of the attitudes of certain chefs who instructed and how they treated people and tried talking down to me. I complained to the head chef who told me if I didn't like it to go somewhere else which is exactly what I did. I notified my instructors I wouldn't be back and stopped attending. After deciding to go back to school I found another college (a real one) and applied but was told I needed to provide transcripts for my time at the A.I. in order for my benefits to be certified but the A.I. refused to provide any transcripts because they continued to schedule classes for me the next semester and even though I did not request the classes and no showed every day from the 1st to the last they still charged me a "food cost" for food I never used and was payed for using the GI Bill, yellow ribbon, and fafsa but supposedly I still owe 340dollars which prevents me from getting my transcripts. Isn't that convienient? Please do your research and make absolutely sure this is a place you want to go BEFORE signing anything. These people are fast talking conartist oopppssss I mean sales people.

Everyone here is super friendly, and very knowledgeable in the industry. It is a bit challenging at times, don't enroll if you're looking for an easy way to get a degree. You have access to nearly all of the supplies you need and the assignments are similar to the types of jobs you will experience in the industry. All of my professors have been very helpful, and they typically try to understand the general level of the class before starting. One thing I've noticed with struggling students is the lack of asking for assistance. You can not be afraid to ask for help!! They are here to help you be successful and they can not do so if you do not speak up.

It’s a great school, it takes money to make money. I understand the negative comments about this school.
